Hampton Inn Erie-South I-90/I-79

Our room was facing a major roadway and we had our small child with us, so that made it a very unpleasant sleep.

Very nice place. Clean and very friendly staff. Grandkids had a riot in the pool. Nice selection for breakfast. One thing needed was a channel guide for tv. 160 plus channels and tough to find something for kids

Peggy served up a heaping serving of hospitality and Jan welcomed us like family.

The 2nd floor was very noisy. Some kids sport league was staying there . Very loud. Couldn't get tothe breakfast place was crazy busy with kids. No place to sit . Found a bunch of flea bugs around the trash can in my room.

We enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming. My family enjoyed the stay. Great job.

Our stay was marred only by the extreme noise in the hallways. Our stay was timed with a group of young hockey players and their families. After several attempts to intervene directly, we finally called down to the desk to report running and screaming in the hall, banging on doors, and playing hockey in the hall. We could hear everything and it was VERY annoying. Desk staff came up and the noise quieted for a while. It would have been nice to be offered an alternative room or a discount at check out, as we also voiced our concerns at check out. I don't remember Hamptons being this noisy -- thin walls? gaps under the door? Otherwise, our stay was the quality stay we expect from Hampton. Next time, we'll check to see who else is staying before we check in.
