Best Western Grand Victorian Inn

Very outdated and I got a room with a balcony because I have a child who has panic attacks and needs fresh air from time to time in a hurry and the door was nearly impossible to open

My family and I stayed here one night while visiting family locally. Location was convenient and close to stores/restaurants. Lobby and room was clean. Air conditioning worked create. Nice and cool to sleep. My kids used the pool. It was clean, but small and very loud because of the hot tub that was excessively noisy. The breakfast was ok. Waffles, eggs, sausage, and cereal as options. Only one kind of milk and juice was tart and watered down. We didn’t use the gym facilities but people can pay daily to use the gym when not staying there so there were people using it. Overall decent stay for the area.

We rented the most expensive room and they put horrible noisy kids and adults that were swearing and coming in an out of the room every 2 min with the door slamming .. got no sleep and the pool is connected to there gym so dont plan on swimming bc there were about 30 people in there and we couldnt go .. this was supposed to be a mini vacation for me and my partner and planned on clming back once a month.. that wont be happening

I traveled with my family, the hotel and the room are clean, there were iron, hair dryer, refrigerator and microwave in the room. Quite spacious room and bathroom. Very nice breakfast. It was also quiet and calm at night. Slightly cloudy water in the pool, but not dirty. Decent 3.5 stars. I would happily stay at this hotel again. Highly recommended.

The swimming pool is very dirty with a slimy bottom. Doors need repair so you can get into them. Breakfast should last until 10 to give you time to get a family around.

The check in time is firm. We waited 3 hours with children and a dog for no reason. The front desk lady was rude, but the cleaning staff were friendly. The property is nice but the building is outdated.

Didnt like all the noise from kids running up and down the halls at all hours of the night

It was a great experience checking in. The gentleman who helped us Friday night was kind and patient with my child. The room was ok. Nice big bathroom and closet bigger than we needed. The actual living quarters was a little tight. The breakfast attendant was less than pleasant she wax by herself and I could see her stress however I feel she could have been more pleasant with the guests if there was coffee go back up the empty pot that would have been great both mornings coffee and hot water were empty when I tried to get it. When I finally got coffee it was weak and not very good. Sausage was over cooked and dry both mornings. The pool was nice and my child enjoyed that, there are no towels in the pool area and when I asked the gym attendant where I could find towels she abruptly told me she could not hand them out…I was like ok but there are none at the pool where can I get them, she replied I am sorry I can’t hand out towels unless you are a guest. I replied I’m a guest. She said again she can’t hand out towels. I then said I understand you can not give me towels but WHERE CAN I GET THEM???? Finally I got out of her that I had to go to the front desk for a towel. When I got to the front desk the same nice gentleman from check in got me my towels.

check in was Not informative, i had to ask all the questions about breakfast and the pool. and silly of me to think that towels would be available At the pool like other hotels NO I had to waqlk to the front desk in my suit and yell for help as no one was there to get towels for the pool. THEN came in 15 kids under 14yrs old screaming, jumping, splashing. parents had NO control over them. I wasnt told were breakfast would be so had to wander around looking for it. THEN with all the signs about disinfecting and cleaning i watched the employees Wipe down the tables with WINDEX, by not spaying it but dumping some in the middle of 3 tables at once. leaving it sit while she wiped one and then with same cloth wipe the others while chatting with co workers, cleaned same spot for 5 mins straight. 1 banana and it was 1/2 black with bruises or just old. kudos on the waffles. the bed had this loud crinkly pad on it. im not a 2yr old and it was so loud i had to remove it to sleep. over just not a nice stay. always hears it was a 'fancy/nice' place to stay. I will go back to the comfort inn. Oh and the local beer distributor hours posted on line and at door close at 8pm arrived at 745p all locked up.
