Holiday Inn Express Allentown North, an IHG Hotel

Wonderful stay with my children. We arrived hours later after check-in however the front desk staff checked us in quickly. Room was clean, quiet, and cool. Indoor pool was convenient and clean! Breakfast was amazing and coffee was a wonderful touch. Will definitely be returning soon!

The indoor pool during the HOT Pennsylvania heat wave was a blessing!!! My kids lived in the pool. The breakfast available was awesome! so many choices. The pancake machine was a delight. The suite we had was GREAT! large and spacious. The housekeeping service was not great. we stayed 8 days and followed the instructions to leave tag on door or off door when we want cleaning or not. Without the tag, we only had our trash taken. Our beds were not made. They were left just how we left it before we left for the day. During breakfast, there is one lady employee who was not the most pleasant to be around. She seemed so grumpy and not happy to have people come eat the food they prepared. I would recommend this place. The stay was pleasant. I hope to stay with them again when I am back in town visiting family.

Our stay was great and convenient from start to finish, although just one night. We needed to be in area to visit someone in a local hospital. It was near highway, but quiet (no planes either). Didn't make it to the pool, but nice option. Included breakfast has many options and was convenient (don't expect gourmet). Front desk staff was friendly and helpful and our room was clean. When we saw how many kids were at breakfast, we were even mor surprised that the night was quiet. Kudos to those sport parents.

This is a really nice and affordable place to stay with young kids. So close to everything and so nice, well kept, and quiet.

Great stay ... the only " complaints " is the pool area is so loud .due to the echo of all the kids yelling having fun ... maybe open a window up top or put in some kind of sound absorbing material ? The hotel was clean and friendly my room was clean and the only bad thing was the light on the switch stayed on and reflected onto the mirror which was right in my line of sight while trying to sleep.. the breakfast good except the scrambled eggs are awful .. watery and tasteless ... staff is awesome and very attentive :)

Very nice front desk staff. Check in was a breeze. Their breakfast buffet was very tasty and filling with enough options for everyone in our party. We had a chance to use their pool, which was very well maintained and relaxing. The fitness center was a huge plus too! Rooms were a good size and quiet. Perfect for families.

I started out upset and disappointed when we arrived around midnight and being offered a one king bed room. I had reserved a 2 bed room for my wife and me and our adult son and called that afternoon to inform the front desk that we would be arriving around midnight to make sure we had the room we needed. The front desk employee then said he had to go clean us a room. 30 minutes later, we had a clean room but lost some valuable sleep time for our quick stay ( we left at 7 for the rest of our trip.) I did thank the front desk employee for going above and beyond expected duties by cleaning a room for us. However it was still probably my worst experience at a Holiday Inn property in my 64 years. My family has always stayed at Holiday Inns, with an expectation of a great experience every time. This time the experience feel short.
