Holiday Inn Express & Suites Medford, an IHG Hotel

The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We walked in seeking shelter from a storm at 8:40 and they shooed us into the restaurant assuring us that we could check in after dinner because the restaurant would close at 9. The restaurant was like yes come in instead of grumbling about 4 people walking in 15 minutes before closing- not only were they attentive the food was delicious. Then we went to check in and front desk was super pleasant, informative and kind. Overall staff really made our night. The room was big, clean, warm and just what we needed. The kids used the pool in the morning while I had a zoom meeting- all in all a great unexpected experience.

First off, I never write in complaints. Our room unfortunately smelled like throw up. The advertised heated pool was freezing. Paid extra for a hotel with an indoor heated pool for our grandkids. Too cold to get in. Room said it slept 7, barely slept 5. Breakfast was good and employees very nice and friendly.

Very family and pet family. Great location just off the highway. Extremely comfortable bed.

We had to book this at the last minute due to our reserved room at another hotel being given away. Holiday Inn Express is one of the few chains where we know our family of 6 can be accommodated in comfort, and we were not disappointed. It would be nice if their snack bar offered some options for those with gluten intolerance or food allergies.

Staff was very accommodating. We needed an extremely early shuttle to the airport (4am) and the staff went out of their way to assure us the appointment was made, even opening the breakfast room early so my kids could grab a banana on our way out.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Medford Holiday Inn. Our first stay was great, so I booked again despite the higher cost when compare to other hotels. That turned out to be a mistake. We booked a room with 2 queen beds and a pullout couch, but was given a room with only 2 queen beds. Front desks said they were completely booked so switching rooms wasn’t an option, but a roll away bed was provided. The room itself was substandard. Both chairs in the room had visible food crumbs on them when we arrived. One duvet had a reddish dried liquid on it that was visible before we even touched the bed. There was a used tissue in a dresser drawer. The in-room Kurig had a used pod in it. There was a used towel hanging on the hook behind the bathroom door. This hotel doesn’t provide individual toiletries in the room, but instead has large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash mounted in the shower. All three bottles were empty. There was a large clump of hair and dirt/debris pushed up to the tub. And that roll away bed? The frame was sticky and while unfolding it we found a sock. I cleaned everything with Clorox wipes and we made the best of it because finding a different place for a larger family late at night wasn’t possible. Front desk was unapologetic and was not helpful. For $300, I expect a clean room at minimum. We will not stay here again.

Only thing that was the guests above our room had kids who made too much noise at night! But, that’s understandable! We still give a thump up for the hotel👍

My husband and I had a 1-night stay at this hotel for a Wine and Cheese Festival and it was a good experience. We didn't spend a ton of time at the hotel because of the activities we were doing, but we did get to use the indoor pool and it was decently clean and child-friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable for us, and we liked the bathroom and shower. The complimentary breakfast had a lot of options as well. Overall, definitely a comfy stay for travelers, and we would stay again!

The front desk staff was amazing and very friendly. They were very informative and helpful. The room was very clean and quiet, which we enjoyed since we were traveling. The breakfast was amazing and the whole family enjoyed what was offered.
