Holiday Inn Express Portland West/Hillsboro, an IHG Hotel

I wanted to give a shout out to whoever was working the front desk between 9:30 and 10:00 on 4/27. There was a loud and rowdy family playing with legos in our hallway and making a commotion, and the staff was so polite and helpful to everybody in our hallway for kindly asking them to go somewhere else. I could not believe the were out there doing that so late at night when the walls at the hotel are on the thin side. I didn’t blame the hotel at all because walls are walls, but they took care of it right away so we could all sleep!! We appreciate you guys so much!!! The lady with glasses up front at check in was super cool too and when we checked out everybody was so kind and friendly. The room was immaculate and in the end I was so happy to have stayed here.

The continental breakfast had nothing that was gluten free and we had a guest in our party who has an extreme allergy (a child). So she couldn’t have anything, not even the sausage :( Otherwise the place was great!

Located in a convenient and walkable area. Surrounding area is also well kept and appears to be safe for kids.

Stay here. We go to Hillsboro/Beaverton a few times a year to visit family. This is THE ONLY hotel we've stayed at near Tanasbourne/Orenco that I've booked more than once. Staff smiles and is friendly. The entire place is clean. Rooms are clean and confortable. The breakfast is like places used to have pre-2020: potatoes, premade omelets, sausage, biscuits & gravy, pastries, yogurt, juice, hardboiled egg, bread/bagel/bear claw, pancake machine. Hot coffee. Juice. Tea. 100% better than the Courtyard of Marriott.

Good location & very clean, my entire family like it.

Hotel was quiet and very convenient for us to visit with family, staff friendly and helpful, would stay there again.

Impressed hot breakfast for the price. Not super, but very good for this price range hotels. Good environments. The door was heavy and not to easy to handle. Little kids would no be able to open it. maybe it is only for my room. Air conditioner sound is loud, but I have not seen any hotels, in this price range in usa, had good and low noise air conditioners for guest rooms. otherwise, i enjoyed my stay there.

Great location for our needs. Close to family, restaurants, coffee, etc.
