Unique historic property that has been very sympathetically restored. Rooms are well appointed and reasonably sized. Staff are very helpful and the location is charming and walkable. Unfortunately, some of the furniture in the room is so outdated it’s hard to relax in the couch/chairs. While the first night was very peaceful, the second night we could hear kids screaming, jumping on furniture (maybe that’s why it’s uncomfortable), running and adults talking loudly well into the night.

We all thought the hotel was beautiful. The staff was wonderful .The room was clean excluding the tv and windows.TV was loaded with dust and windows were not clean overlooking the mountains. The food was ok. For the price of the stay and food I expected more. It was a good experience but do not see our family returning.

The history was interesting. The staff was amazing. I will come back to this hotel and Baker city and recommend it to my friends and family. I’m happy that I live so close. Thank you.

Amazing place! Our room, and the hotel in general, is absolutely beautiful and welcoming. The staff were fantastic (shout out to Dylan who has been working there for about two weeks and was so great), and the location is ideal for walking around old town Baker City and soaking up the history and architecture. There is a mini museum in the basement, showing relics from the renovation as well as artifacts procured by the family who owns the hotel. It was very interesting to read about the hotel's legacy. I will definitely stay here again if I'm ever passing through, it was magnificent.
