Hampton Inn & Suites Tulsa South-Bixby

My family and I have stayed at the hotel before so we chose again for familiarity and proximity. The hotel was clean and looked taken care of. With that said I did notice our shower curtain was stained, we were missing the ice bucket from our room and there was a vacuum cleaner left at our door. Unsure about that. The staff was friendly. We didn’t bring this to their attention as it was a later night check in and early send off.

My parents rented a room for 4 days and they did not clean it any even after they requested them to clean. The grandkids were in the pool and need to have extra towels and cleaning with the kids and they never cleaned it once. We were on the list 2 days but never cleaned.

Staff was responsive, pleasant, and helpful. Pool was quite cold, but my kids enjoyed it. One of the beds had a stray hair in the sheets, prompting us to replace all the beddings with fresh ones, which the manager was happy to provide. Breakfast was delicious and had good variety. The room doors slam shut pretty loudly so we were disrupted from time to time by others on our floor who did not take care to close the doors gently. Overall it was a pleasant stay with no serious issues, and it was a good value for what we got.

The staff was super friendly and had a scavenger hunt that my grandchildren really enjoyed.

They staff was very polite. Our first room has urine all over the seat of the toilet so the staff moved us to a new room quickly. Our second room smelled heavily of sanitizers (such as Lysol), so much so our belongings retained the smell all the way home to Texas. The air conditioner sounded like a freight train with a very loud fan that was knocking each time it turned on. Lastly, at 3:30am the ceiling in the bathroom started pouring a steady stream of water from the light fixture above. The front desk said maintenance doesn't arrive until 5am, would we like to tough it out or move rooms (we had sleeping children so decided to stay in room vs move them at 3:30am) and we had to use the bathroom in the lobby until the leak stopped about 6am. Was this toilet water all over our belongings? Was it shower water? Who knows. The desk gave us an extra trash can to collect the water that was coming out of the ceiling. No offer of refund or credit was given.
