Hilton Garden Inn Lawton-Fort Sill

The property was nice and very clean. Family friendly and close by to shops. The staff went above and beyond for my family. I am truly grateful for the kindness they showed us.

It was clean and modern. Front desk staff were very nice so we’re the bartenders. The restaurant had really good food. Stores in the parking lot if you forgot something. Kohl’s, Dicks, Ulta, shoe dept., dollar tree. Walmart and Sam’s not far and the mall was right down the street. I stayed there for 4 days for my son’s graduation from Fort Sill basic training and family day. The brewery and restaurant next door also has very good food. I really liked that I could just walk out the door and if I needed to eat or buy something I forgot everything was walkable.

The only issue I had was that the website asked who would be in my room and the ages of the children. I said there would be 4 people. There were only 3 towels. I stayed 2 nights and apparently I had to request to have my room serviced so no one gave me clean towels the second day. There is no way to dry the wet towels after you shower. I find it a bit ridiculous that you have to ask for clean

My entire family, from New York to Houston to Californiss was there for a family wedding, on Sat. Evening after the most perfect wedding day, not one glitch. Several family members including the bride & groom, were sitting outside in the fenced in area when an armed man was able to open the gate & proceed to stick a gun in their face & try to rob them. Fortunately the family was quick thinking & took him down & took the gun from him. There is absolutely no security provided at this hotel & this could have ended in family horror. Imagine, if you dare, how this affected the bride & groom & the horror of it all to end their " perfect wedding day"! Hilton will be hearing from the family, in particular the ones present at this nightmarish event. Hilton Inn was neglect by not having any security on the premises. We will be in touch & expect some restitution.
