The team in The courtyard did the ultimate job to get me and my family settled in the right way. Thanks to all the staff for clean modern and comfy rooms that made our stay remarkable.

This hotel made my summer family trip difficult to enjoy. I ended up checking out early because of the condition of the room. First- the bathroom smelled horrible due to the shower curtain. It had that mold/pee smell. Also, the shower head did not turn on and the bathtub was clogged with hair
Second- there was some sort of stain on the pillowcase and headboard of the bed my daughter use.
Thirdly- there were balls of hair on the floor
I was also informed there is an early check out fee which I found hard to understand why a hotel would charge to leave early.
The staff was pleasant but that does not make up for the condition of the room.
I was told the manager would contact me about my stay, but this has not happened.

Challenging stay for us. The facilities were fine -- clean and comfortable. But unfortunately the room next to ours was the setting for a domestic disturbance in the middle of the that was very loud. We felt the hotel was slow to respond to what could have been a scary situation, and I was scared for my family when it sounded like the confrontation next door was suddenly on the verge of getting violent. Fortunately the situation resolves without injuries, but I feel the police were not brought in until far too late. And I did not feel that the hotel did enough to calm our nerves or compensate us for a very unnerving and not at all restful stay. We had driven 12 hours and had many more to go -- this was just supposed to be a place where we could get some peace, quiet and a good night's sleep. I run a small business and I know I would have offered more to guests in our position than a breakfast voucher. Further, the person at the morning registration desk went on an extended monologue about how scared SHE is of Toledo and how bad the crime is there -- which didn't make us feel any better, and won't entice us to stop either at this hotel or the city of Toledo anytime soon.

Girl front desk did ok didn't tell me and my family about the hotel like breakfast what time it started or what the hotel has in it other then my stay was great nice and quiet

Checked in at 2:45, website said rooms were available at 3pm. We have 3 children, one an infant and another 2 years old. We were hopeful about securing our room for nap time. We were informed by the front desk in a very flippant manner that only king rooms were available. We asked how long and she threw her hand up in the air and said she had to wait on housekeeping. We said a king room wouldn’t work and she pointed to the lobby to wait with the other 4 guests who were told the same. She later called us up and said she had two adjoining rooms, again, she was dismissive and curt. My wife and I expressed this wouldn’t work. I addressed her attitude with me and asked if there was someone else I should be speaking with, her response was there’s no management on a holiday. Seemed odd. While we waited, the front desk worker would wander through the lobby texting on her phone. An older couple eventually left. Finally, we were summoned to the desk again. The front desk lady said she had a suite with 2 queens. We accepted and I thanked her for making it right. We’ve stayed here before and booked again because we enjoyed it so much. I’d think twice again about booking. There was no reason to be rude with us from the start. We were cordial and professional, as well as understanding. My wife and I are in hospitality and we’re shocked by how we were spoken too. Shame, this was a nice place.

For the price charged, I was underwhelmed: the staff wore name tags & whatever they felt like wearing! It just seemed so unprofessional. They also never really looked at you...guess they assume if you are doing something bad the surveillance cameras will pick you up, so they don't need to pay attention.
Over the course of 3 nights stay, we spent a lot of time in the lobby. We left crumbs and filled up the trash...it didn't get cleaned or emptied that evening or the next morning. Given that there was no daily housekeeping service, I was not totally surprised.
The sad thing is, this was a return home. A lot of family traveled in from their new states of residence. They were not impressed with Toledo friendliness, attention to detail or value. They did like the proximity of the Whole Foods store.

Hotel looked nice but it’s not well kept. The rooms are newer but they are having issues with house staff keeping it clean evidently.
They gave me a room across a room the rented out to people having a birthday party. Not sure how that made sense. 20 people with kids singing happy birthday in the hall and kids running loose and lots of yelling.
The staff were very kind and moved me to another room but it wasn’t very clean and the curtains were torn and hanging down, so they gave me another room on the top floor. The room was better and quiet but clearly the cleaning staff haven’t vacuumed the hallways in a long time.
I’ll probably never stay there again.
