Holiday Inn Express & Suites Toledo South - Perrysburg, an IHG Hotel

The room was fine. When I checked in, the person at the desk offered to move my room to the same floor as other family members.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Toledo South - Perrysburg is in an excellent location, adjacent to shops and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. And my children enjoyed the indoor pool. The beds are very comfortable. However, it is not a four or five star hotel. The towels are thin. The toiletry products are manufactured by Dove and in pumps bolted to the shower wall. The built-ins along the closet wall are made of Formica, though they are very well designed. (The sort that would be enviable if made of wood and built into a mudroom (hooks, bench, etc.))

My kids and I liked the facility, fresh smelling. Was initially given a room that smelt smoke on the 2nd fl. Moved to 1st Fl, thank God I checked in early. I was there for 3 nights and was told change of linen done after 5 days of stay. Ran out of soap, cups and bed not even spread after 2 nights. You have to request for everything, unlike other Holiday inns. Wondering what's the job of housing keeping?

Joseph at the front desk was so nice and helpful with our group of 4 kids and just me. The pool was at the perfect temperature also. my grandkids swam 3 times and thank God it was warm. This is one of the reasons we choose your hotel for the pool.

I was frustrated when arriving that there was only one person to check in guests and it wasn’t terribly late. There was quite a line too. I ended up waiting for a good 15 minutes, at least. The desk clerk was friendly but almost a bit too friendly. We were staying in a six person suite and there were only two sets of towels. Again, a bit annoyed that I had to go back down for more towels and there were no linens for the pull out bed. The clerk was nice to bring the linens to our room since he didn’t have those available. The room did not have additional toilet paper and there was hardly any left on the two rolls in the room. Again, this is a six person suite, there should be extras put in there for the amount of people who could be staying in the room. It is inconvenient for the guests to have to run up and down to get what they need for their room. The room itself was very nice. The beds were fine. Not the most comfortable for the price point. But the breakfast was very good in the morning. Our kids loved the food for sure.
