Wonderful service from the friendly smiles at check-in to the hustling attendees at the breakfast meal, constantly filling up food and supplies. I cannot say enough good things about the Maumee location. 6 of us: 3 kids, my 74 yo mother and my husband and me so we had a bigger room. Our beds were so comfortable my nine year old said, "...it was the best sleep of her life..." We had an extra large room with 2 bedroom and 2 baths. Everyone had plenty of space and it was well worth the extra money. We stayed past the 10pm limit at the pool and no one blinked an eye. We were late checking out by 20 minutes and no one said one word. So I'd say EXTREMELY family friendly. LOTS of great choices at breakfast, plenty of towels, lots of amenities provided in our kitchenette. The two minor down points were: the mattress on the sleeper sofa was very thin and the pool area did not have a hot tub (which was a disappointment for my 7 year old)
We would totally stay again (and again and again, if our budget would allow the extra-big room!)

We have been here four other times with minimal issues, but boy have things gone downhill! Poop on the toilet seat, bathroom smelling like fried food, shower drain backed up, cards had to be reprogrammed multiple times, dishwasher door was not able to be locked so had to be hand washed, microwave light was out, one bathroom was freezing, and the cart situation for loading and unloading was rough. The carts were small and the one we used was missing part of it, so we had to make 2 trips. Leaving we had to carry everything by hand because they only have 2. It took us 3 trips, which sucks when you have a baby. We were really disappointed. All employees had zero personality at front desk! Surprisingly, the other staff were much more friendly.

We got there to check in at 11:55pm. There was NO ONE at the counter. We waited for 50 minutes and then finally left to make the 3 hour drive home in the middle of the night. There were several other families trying to check in as well which also finally just left. Incredibly frustrated - have never had this experience. Will be expecting a refund.

The general manager went above and beyond for us in allowing us to have early check in due to a family issue! Great place to stay! Will do it again!!

It’s 2023 so deposits are pretty normal however hotels should state this on their website & 3rd party websites. The no party policy & max number (5) per room is low for a hotel that is mainly suites. The pool was small & there is no jacuzzi. There were no towels at the pool but the staff was very kind in getting towels for us. Overall my kids are having a good time I’m not sure however if we will visit again.

The hotel was nice. Great breakfast buffet. I stayed in the kitchen suite and it was very large with two bedrooms two bathrooms. The room was very nice and my family of 5 loved it. The only complaints I have were that for 300 dollars a night I shouldn’t see water damage in the ceiling tiles. Some general updates need to be made.

Counter Clerk was excellent, size of room was great for our family of 3, new carpet in room, however, rest of room really needs to be updated really showing its age. We had a room that had a dog next door in the other room and it appeared the guest left the dog by itself for a time and the dog continued to bark and cry for about an 1 and 1/2 hours from 9:30pm-11:00pm... we were too tired to call and change our room as we were there for a funeral and worn out.

This hotel was very clean in the lobby and the pool area was full of towels and plenty of parking, but the rooms definitely need to be updated, stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, the room smelled of a strong odor, the dishwasher wouldn’t even open the toilet bowels were dirty and stained, convenient to stay when traveling with children but please make room renovations

First off weird observation while waiting to be checked in. A black man seemed to be there for a while being checked. Beautiful accent. The attendant asked the reason for his stay. It seems to me that reading the situation of the already fustrarwd person was not something the attendant was very
hood at. He politely said that it was none of her business. I was curious if she asked all the guest this question and she said it was standard for all guest. I understood and accepted the reply. The gentleman and mtself introduced ourselves. He lived in the east coast like myself. Upon my arrival, they accidentally double. Charged me $400 something times 2). Explained that their machine had been giving them problems. My family and I waited in the lobby for a while before they said that we could just go to the room and they would call us once corrected. Rooms were clean. However we received no room service cleaning during our stay even though we followed the directions to have that done. FYI i had to cone down to get towels no problem the place was busy as it was when I arrived. While I waited, I watch two white families get checked no problems, no issues with the machine and no questions about what brought them here.
