Best Western Plus Boardman Inn & Suites

Bed was uncomfortable. And children in the room above us were jumping and running around and hotel desk said there was nothing they could do about it...it was after 11pm!! Water turned cold in shower and then back to hot Clock would not show the correct time and it could not be changed.

Nice hotel free breakfast was great . Only complaint was no towels in the pool area. Was told they were busy last night so they need to do laundry. I Was told this while I’m standing at the front desk dripping wet in my bathing suit . I made them grab me a dirty towel for my kids and I to dry off.. they also charge $150 refundable damage fee . Be prepared to pay this . I wasn’t

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The first time we had a pretty good experience except for a problem with check-in, which was not entirely the hotel's fault. This second time though, there were so many problems. The power went out during the night for several hours, the elevator broke down repeatedly, the hot tub and pool water was brown (it looked like beef broth), the air conditioner in our room couldn't keep the room cool and dehumidified (it was only in the 70's outside), the fridge in one of our rooms thawed and leaked water everywhere, the staff was often heard loudly complaining about their job, one of the cleaning staff was vacuuming the hallway at around 9 am and banging it against doors while people were still trying to rest, the chest of drawers in our room opened constantly and it blocked the walkway, and the hotel was just not very cleanly at all. It was also just packed with a traveling kids baseball team, so it was very loud and crowded, though that is not the hotel's fault necessarily. It was, overall, not a great experience.

Some people or something kept setting off the fire alarm and so my kid got woken up three times I was trying to work overnight at work night shift and I was on my computer and had to leave work because the alarm went off and, the fire department showed up and everything but yet they couldn't figure out what was going on and so the fire department in the alarms didn't go off for about a half hour or so and my kid and everyone got kept up all night and I got taken away from work I didn't complete the work I was supposed to do while staying at the hotel I would really like it if we could give this a solution by offering me another night to complete my work I would really appreciate it I was kept up from about 12:30 in the morning until 4am because of this issue

Hi Steve, this is 2020 and I don’t remember the decor looking like that so it’s very updated. Everyone was very nice. The breakfast buffet was made and the kids love the pool.

The location was very clean, with great service. Everything was in good condition, and very comfortable. There are also tons of restaurants in the area where you can grab a meal. Perfect for my family.

#1. Our room smelled like dog pee. Was told they were completely booked and there was nothing they could do. #2. After driving ten hours, my 70 year old mother came by our room to see the grandkids, she was told by the front desk she couldn't come in because "they don't allow outside guests". We paid what i feel was a premium for a Best Western, we typically pay as much or less to stay at much nicer Hilton's. Undortunately this trip we were low on options. This will be our last stay at Best Western.

We needed a one night stay to visit family. It was recommended by my cousin and it didn’t disappoint. The room was spacious, clean, up to date, the king bed was very comfy, and the price was fair to all that.

We are in town the same time every year for a softball tournament in a neighboring town and I will say that this is the best hotel we have stayed in so far. Granted it is new, so how could it be bad? You can smell the "newness" as soon as you walk in the front door. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They have a very nice lobby/sitting area where the complementary breakfast is served. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. They have a very nice fitness room. There is plenty of shopping, restaurants...and most importantly, a Starbucks within walking distance of this hotel.

Staying was one of the worst experiences I’ve had the house keeper was horrible we had family in three different rooms and when we asked for another rag because it was only one rag in the room the lady told us we had enough in our rooms so unprofessional then she started getting smart saying she don’t know who we think we are it was just really bad I’ve never been through this before at any other hotels
