I don't normally write reviews but after my stay at Wingate, I wanted to share about a wonderful experience! We arrived late (3:30am) and our reservation had been automatically canceled. The person at the desk quickly took care of it though and got us situated. The room was clean and spacious. We were in town because our daughter had a baby. I work from home and had meetings so I asked if we could work in the breakfast area after they were done serving and they said absolutely. They were very kind and accommodating! All of the staff were polite and friendly. This will be our hotel of choice when visiting our daughter!

Had a great stay. There was nothing to complain about. Staff was great. Trying to wrangle the baby out the hotel room made us check out 5 minutes late, and they were very understanding.

Top of the line. Who the heck cares about a few cracks in the ceiling or a little caulking in the bath room coming off. The beds were clean and so were the floors. Great breakfast. Wonderful service from everyone. Very friendly. And very affordable. If you want top of the line then PAY FOR IT you stupid idiots. For people that want to save a little money and love a family atmosphere then this is the place. Pool was for clean I might add.

The online pictures don't due this property justice. It's much nicer than it appears. The staff encountered were exceptionally nice and especially Holly, who saw us struggling at breakfast with our twins. It's not an easy task to stay at a hotel with kids and everyone was helpful. The beds were great and the linens were really clean. The bathtub/shower was very clean. We liked the built in shampoo/conditioner, that was nice considering we forgot ours! The floors in our room could have been cleaner, our socks/feet were dirty. Disappointed that the pool was closed, but we felt the cost of the room fit for that missing amenity.

We made an unexpected layover due to a winter storm. The desk clerk was fantastic. She was welcoming and friendly. We were traveling with 3 adults, 2 children and a dog and our stay was very comfortable. The breakfast was hot and good and they had an assortment that satisfied everyone.

The room had dog hair from previous customers and my kid is allergic. Then the other room they tried to give us had a broken sofa bed, the door was opened as if someone was in there, and one of the beds was slept in. Also the elevator was broken.
