The staff member seemed annoyed when we arrived because he was trying to fix the front door of the hotel. He was very curt. Can’t say I blame him- shouldn’t be his job. We did not interact with any other staff member until checkout. When I approached the desk, there was a sign that said the staff member was away and to call a number for assistance. This wouldn’t have worked for me as I’m from out of country and wasn’t using my phone to make calls. A staff member was there and came out of a back room, so luckily that didn’t matter. I found it odd that this sign was up when there was a staff member there. It seems like maybe they’re understaffed, especially if they’re having to do maintenance work themselves. Our room was very hard to access. It took several tries to get it to unlock. I didn’t bother to call anyone because I wouldn’t expect a maintenance person to be able to fix the problem. It seemed like the key card mechanism was worn out and needed replacing. We eventually got in the room and it was adequate for our needs as we just needed a place to sleep and it was fine for that. It was not the cleanest, however. The drain cover in the bathtub was broken and there was clumps of hair inside. The toilet also smelled like urine as if it had not been properly cleaned. Overall, the hotel was fairly rundown and grubby but not the worst I’ve seen in Minot. I didn’t have the breakfast, but my kids went down and found unappealing-only sausage, eggs, and gravy.

DO NOT BELIEVE THE OTHER REVIEWS HERE. I feel they're either done by the staff or family and friends of the staff/owners. I booked this hotel because of the strong reviews. I fell for the lies told and am here to ensure you do not do the same. Someone else's hair was in the bed and in the shower. One half roll of toilet paper provided. The worst water pressure I've had at a hotel (and I travel extensively for work). There was a tear in the carpet where the linoleum and carpet met. And do not get me started on the pillows! They are about 12 inches by 12 inches. Essentially they're decorative pillows that the hotel uses instead of spending money on properly sized pillows. They also only supplied 4 of them. My wife and I went to Target and bought our own pillows. DO NOT STAY HERE. I do have to say that the front desk staff were great.

The staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and efficient! The room had everything needed for a family or extended stay. Full size fridge, stove top and microwave. The beds were comfy as well. I cant rave the hot breakfast enough.

Room was large and clean. Plenty of space for family, pet, and all the sports equipment. Showers were hot. Kitchen was large and still had free breakfast. Great choice for families.

Was completely adequate for a single night stay - room was clean and well maintained. Was nice to have the suite with the kitchenette when you’re traveling with kids.
