Ramada by Wyndham Statesville

The staff was extremely rude when we checked in, we had 2 adults and 3 children but I accidentally put 4 people online and the lady yelled at me that I had to purchase another room and I said no that’s not going to happen, that’s too expensive to send one person to another room because it’s not going to be the children, so I said I will take the mother Socorro to her sister house and I kept the children, then she yells at me that I’m only getting 4 pool wrist bands and only four will eat breakfast, I said I understand that and there will only be 4, me and my youngest grandson go to the pool and there are several people in the pool, so I’m assuming she thought they were with me, she screams out I want to see everybody bracelet now, she scared this older lady in the pool so bad she held her wrist in the air and says .. I only have a watch and it’s mine I don’t have a bracelet.. she says what room you in and she told her and she said oh, I’ll get you an arm band for the pool.. my grandson says, I bet she thought those other kids was with you mawmaw, I don’t want to ever stay here again, she is mean, my oldest grandson was there when she was yelling at me over the breakfast.. tell me why 3 children can’t stay in a room with 2 adults plus there was a drink bottle by the bed left by the previous person in the room and dried up food in the fridge freezer.. I’ve never been treated so bad at a motel, I paid them for their service,and it was expensive ..this was ridiculous.

I stayed here on my motorcycle trips from NJ to FL to see family back in the day. Now retired, and living in FL, thought I'd come by at least one more time, on my motorcycle, lol. Its been 10 years. Some property updates, the bar and lounge still the same. No country western karaoke now tho, lol. Not disappointed, facilities and property well maintained and clean. Recommended to stay here.

The layout was awkward. Seemed like walking a maze to get to my room. The room I was given was a handicapped/ADA room which was weird since I did not require that type of room; if a person did require this room it would have been inconvenient if they needed to get to their vehicle. Of all the available outlets in the room only one worked so I had to unplug coffee maker across room to plug in charger. The bed was so low to the ground it felt almost childsized. Had I not been so tired upon my arrival i would have requested a different room. Overall it was clean.

Floors were disgusting. We had to wear our shoes while in the room. Trash under beds. Weird stains on bed skirts. Bathroom sink and toilet had mildew on them. We stayed only one night, just needed a place to rest after driving. But I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, if you have kids and have OCD about cleanliness. You get what you pay for, but gross. No, thank you.

Staff was nice. Food was good. Pool was nice. Just sad that the pool closed at 9 my kid would of liked to swim longer

Very family oriented, nice breakfast, the cleaning fragrances were a bit strong. Overall I would recommend and will probably stay here again when I come to town.

A/C smelled of smoke, furniture worn, broken, found a baby roach in bathroom. Staff was nice, food just ok. We would not stay there again nor recommend this facility.

Excellent location, wonderful staff. The woman who checked us in was having computer issues due to a horrible storm and had a few snags with check in. She found a solution and resolved all issues immediately. She was amazing. Highly recommend property. Safe, clean and staff was like family.

Guests and their children were loud in the hallway at night. Hotel was very clean but very dated. Beds kinda low but average comfort. Toilets seem to run frequently and not flusb properly. Some front desk staff could have been friendlier.
