Pillows were old. Couch was peeling and the other sides were just as bad. Have family in Mt. Airy probably won’t stay there anymore.

I’m not sure how to review this hotel. It wasn’t awful. The staff was friendly. But it was listed as over 8 out of 10. It’s not. It’s maybe a 6. The second floor hallway stank. The room smelled. The carpet was OLD. The breakfast was ok. We don’t travel much as a family, and we’ve stayed at some real stinkers. So i try to pick 8-10 hotels only and they’re usually amazing. This was not amazing. It’sa solid 6.

We have stayed at this hotel every year for the past three years on our way to the beach. Staff is very friendly and the hotel is quiet / family oriented. The waffles in the morning are a hit with my kids as well.

Second time here as guest. The property is convenient to family in area, but seems increasingly shoddy. This time the initial room reserved appeared to have had someone sleep in the bed just before we arrived (pillows had a head print, sheets and blanket in disarray). The second room had a wooden wedge placed under the toilet (not even attempted to be concealed) keeping the toilet level. The pool had grime and crud around the deck and tile, and had some garbage scattered around. We will NOT be staying at this hotel again.

Walked in to a clean smell and friendly check in. The room was clean and up to date. The bed was soft and the sheets were silky. Pool was nice and clean . Only negative was they ran out of waffles at 7:30.. my kids were sad .

The hotel was clean. The room was spacious & the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly. The kids loved the indoor pool. The hotel is a quick ride to the Andy Griffith attractions & Rockford St, where there are many dining options & a Walmart. I have stayed here a few times over the years & would definitely come back.
