Best Western Mountainbrook Inn

Loved our stay here!!!! The ladies at the front desk were super friendly and helpful( our remote batteries died for the TV and we couldnt figure out how to fix it). She had us fixed up in no time!!! The hotel had some BEAUTIFUL hydrangea bushes in bloom and our room was close to the BBQ area, and pool. It was PERFECT!!!! We will definitely be staying there again and have already told friends and family about the hotel. Thanks guys for making our family trip so nice. P.S. The breakfast omlets were great!!!!

We've stayed at the Best Western Mountainbrook Inn in Maggie Valley a few times, typically in the winter but also in the fall. While there we often take the kids to Tube World for the snow-tubing, over to the Cataloochee Ski Area, and general sightseeing around this beautiful mountain area. There are plenty of good food options nearby. We really like the breakfasts at Joey's Pancake House and yes they serve other delicious food besides pancakes. The Best Western Mountainbrook Inn is a very nice Best Western and what you should expect for this brand. The rooms are ample size, clean, and the staff is always very helpful. The exterior of the property provides good parking and easy access to the rooms. The Best Western Mountainbrook is centrally located on the Maggie Valley strip and is a short drive to Lake Junaluska or the Cherokee India Reservation. We recommend the Best Western Mountainbrook and hope that you will have a fun time in Maggie Valley as we do each time we visit there.

Excellent stay. I booked having two children in two rooms and they put us on the top floor and then said people were complaining about the noise under us. Maybe think about that before you put children on top floor. No elevator. Smoking all over the property. I'm allergic, so it is a huge problem

This property is quaint. The rocking chairs outside each room were a plus. We used them frequently. The linens are soft and the bed was comfortable. There is a surcharge for extra towels. The room appeared clean unless you picked a damp towel up off the tile or looked behind the bathroom door Not so clean. Our carpet was very damp. We didn't use the pool, but did look at it. A family we talked to said it was heated and a great pool. Refrigerator, Microwave, Plenty of ice were appreciated. Breakfast was good for the rest of our party. I have gluten and dairy allergies. Not one thing I could eat there, but the coffee was good.

It was better than the place up the road but the overwhelming smell of dampness/possible mold that was just painted over was over powering. There was a “tree” car freshener on ac unit vents and damp rid containers in every corner. The beds appeared to be clean but the shower/bathroom area had room for improvement and left us feeling uneasy about the other areas of the room. Staff was friendly and they do offer breakfast and coffee. I’ve stayed at a few places in Maggie valley and this gets 5 of 10 stars from my family.
