Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Smithfield - Selma I -95, an IHG Hotel

I had two rooms they were both really nice! My issue was the tv in one room didn’t work. It looked as if someone snatched the cord out the back and we couldn’t watch it. The receptionist was no help and very nonchalant about the whole ordeal. She said she would send someone up, they never came. When asked about it she stated everyone left for the night. So no tv the entire stay in that room. The second room had no tv guide. I have kids under the age of five so with an outdated remote I tried my best to find cartoons. This made our stay a little difficult.

This was a great place to stay, the now small issue is we were in an overbooked room and ended up with a pull out with a single bed. Besides that I would recommend that your stay here, this place was clean, safe and fun for our family

Staff was nice at check in. Room was very clean. Our kids loved the pool but said it had too much chlorine in it. Area very close to Premium Outlets.

Beds were super comfy!! Staff was nice , when I asked for nearby recommendations she said to use Google lol ! Not in a mean way but I thought that was funny! Toilet water pressure was super low. Gym has 3 machines and some weights. Easy parking , slow elevators, and I could hear the person/kid upstairs walking/running back & forth as if I was in an apartment building. I’d stay again.

Room was clean and everyone friendly. Free hot breakfast in the morning is key when traveling with kiddos! We will stay here again.

I slept like a baby. My room and bed were so comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful. A great stay.

Front desk personnel had trouble locating our booking but overall we had a great stay. Hotel is clean, beds are comfy, breakfast has limited hours, but it’s good & overall family friendly. Do recommend it based on our personal experience!

We reserved a suite originally but during check-in were told it was overbooked. We were sent to an already occupied room and had to return downstairs to clear it up. The lady in the front was very apologetic and explained the situation. After some time we were placed in 2 separate standard rooms, which with a big family wasn't bad. The room next to us had extremely noisy kids and the walls are very thin, but all in all the stay was pleasant and although there were hiccups they were tended to and that is really all we can expect because things do happen.

Nice hotel and location is great. Could use a better sound barrier between rooms. We could hear the family next door talking as if they were sitting in our room. Clean, comfortable and plenty of room in the suite...one suggestion would be a 2nd tv in the living room area. Possibly a small work desk to accommodate those working or doing online college classes. Overall had a nice stay and will definitely be back again.
