Hampton Inn Greensboro-Airport

perfect place to stay when dropping your child back to school , short distance to high point and many stores on the area for any items you didn’t travel with pool is small but super clean

The hotel was great. initially upon arrival we were placed in a 2 double bed room, I booked and prepaid with Orbitz 3 weeks in advance for a king w/study, so I called the front desk and explained the situation. The young woman at the desk was wonderful and very accomodating. She explained that they were sold out of the King rooms that evening but offered us (with no hesitation) a recently converted conference room and explained that it was very big. She allowed us to see the room first and upon entering we were pleasantly suprised. With it being my fiances Fathers Day/B-day present (we were in town for the Beyonce concert) I left the decision to him and he happily excepted the new room. We booked a king room and ended up, thanks to the hotel, with what we felt was almost like an executive suite. We couldn't have asked for friendlier service. Oh and an added bonus...this was the first time we stayed in a hotel anywhere and did not have housekeeping start knocking on the door by 8 am to find out when we were leaving so they could clean. They still hadn't even knocked by 12:15 when we left the room (checkout was 12). The continental breakfast was one of the best I've ever seen and the hotel and room were very clean. Thank you Hampton for a successful, peaceful, and accomodating weekend away from the kids.
