Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Greensboro, NC

Hotel had an immediate odor upon arrival. My child was in the floor of the room for a few short minutes and his feet were black from filth. Beds were rock hard. Not enough water pressure to even wet your toothbrush. One of my worst stays.

The hotel is okay, front office staff was friendly. House keeping was pretty off. Beds were made every other day, coffee replaced just once. They threw away (or took it) our brand new sunscreen spray bottle (we were in town for a soccer tournament). One day our fridge was completely opened and all the drinks were warm. Breakfast is very limited. Also, the area is not very family friendly.

This was a terrible experience. I requested to move to another floor because I felt unsafe and was not moved because none of the other rooms were cleaned. I decided to stay anyway because I was getting daughter ready for orientation and it was too late so I didn’t move to another hotel. The next day I had been busy with my daughter so stayed because check out was the next day. The next day was even worst there had to be kids upstairs because they were running the entire day into the night. I let the front desk agent know several times he claims he went upstairs to let them know and it continued till about 10pm. I woke up around 6am and at 7am all the running and jumping began again. I let the manager know and she was pretty much no help. Never again!!

The man at the desk who checked me in was very nice and attentive. I really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. I’m a single mom who travels with 2 small kids so I’m always excited when I find a safe and clean hotel for us. We ended up spending another night in the area exploring because we enjoyed our stay at the hot hotel.

Stain on the carpet. Two lights were out out of the four lights that was in the bathroom. The bedding didn’t seem the cleanest. There was only one bath towel in our room and it was stained. No accommodation for babies. Doors to both the elevator room and electrical room were open. Pretty sure that’s a safety hazard. But the people working there was very friendly.

Within two miles of Greensboro coliseum. Moved me from a upper floor room rather than fix the lock, then later that evening they put a very noisy family in the room that i had earlier vacated right above me. Extremely annoying as I'd requested an upper floor room.

Stayed at this hotel for a competitive skate meet. PAID IN ADVANCE for a room with 2 queens, ended up with 1 king & a crappy pull out sofa. 3 other families that we know of were DOUBLE CHARGED for their weekend stay. We make this trip every Thanksgiving but we all will never stay here. We spend at least a weekend away 10 months out of the year but this trip has put all Country Inn & Suites at the bottom of our list. These 4 families will be staying with a different chain.

The front desk couldn’t even find a hairdryer when I requested one. The kid walked around in that trashed out room behind the front desk for 10 minutes before telling me that no there was no hairdryer. Every hotel we stay in has a hairdryer, it’s a pretty basic amenity that is usually provided when asked if not already in the room. Breakfast was pitiful and not served until 7, after they told us 6-10. I won’t choose this location again for sure.

Booked this hotel so the grandchildren could swim during the afternoon before our evening plans. Pool was closed.
