Hyatt Centric SouthPark Charlotte

Our overall stay was great. Pre and Krystal were awesome in helping us to find the right room option for our family before check in. The front desk team was warm and friendly throughout our entire stay and the room was clean and spacious. There is a coaching opportunity for the valet team when it comes to seizing opportunities to provide exceptional customer service. When we pulled in on check in day after we told them that we were checking in as we pulled up, the valet attendant asked if we were using valet parking. We said no as we were needing to drop our stuff off and check in because of a rehearsal dinner we had to get to. The valet walked away without offering assistance or providing the location of the luggage carts. I found it and loaded our things as they watched from a distance. Our room wasn’t immediately ready but Pre ensured us that while we were out they would hold our bags and she would see to it that the valet gets to our room.

The hotel was impressive. The modern room concept was inviting and extremely comfortable. My kids and I had a great peaceful weekend.

The area hotel is located is very nice with lots of options for family or just friends hanging out.

The hotel was great, my only complaint(s) were the so-called "sofa bed", it was horrible, very hard and not fit to sleep on for a few days, even my child said he wanted to sleep in the bed with us because he was so uncomfortable. I asked if they had a crib mattress to put on top of it to give it some sort of padding but the only thing they could provide us was a couple of duvet covers so we had to make do with that, didn't really make it much better though. The only other complaint was the lighting in the room, too dark. Other than that it was a very nice stay and we would definitely recommend this hotel.
