This was our second Canopy Hotel we’ve stayed at and we haven’t been disappointed. The staff and hotel are amazing. Will recommend to our family and friends for travel stays. Thank you

I was in town for the Labor Day weekend and stayed at this hotel. The staff was very friendly, hotel was in a great location near shopping and restaurants. The rooms were nice and clean. The only thing they could have done different is ass microwave and mini fridge to the rooms. Also my kids were disappointed there was no pool at the hotel. The restaurant has great food. I would stay here again and i recommend if you’re looking for a newer hotel.

We’ve stayed at Canopy several times when we visit family or have to work in Charlotte. We love the location, the friendly staff, the bar/restaurant and it’s a pet friendly hotel which is perfect for us. This time we noticed our room was looking tired. The area rug had several soiled spots, some areas were dusty which made the room look and feel older. The glass water carafe needed to be changed. The king size bed sagged in the center and lacked support. We hope management pays attention to the upkeep and makes the property look as clean and fresh as it used to be.

The lobby was attractive, the shower good, lots of USB ports. There was nowhere to hang dresses or pants, the refrigerator didn’t work, coffee cup and glass in the room were chipped. For arrivals after dark, there should be something lighted that clearly marks the entrance. Valets should have some form of ID showing they are with the hotel rather than expecting us to hand over keys to some random person outside the hotel. The staff was pleasant, but the front desk person looked me in the eye and said I didn’t have a reservation. This hotel may be good for some (who only need to hang up toddler clothes), but I will not be going back.

The staff was hands down the best part of our stay. I was traveling with two small children. They were so kind to us at every interaction, truly refreshing. I left an item behind and the front desk has been extremely responsive and helpful in getting my lost item shipped back home. I have already referred family to this location, and they booked a trip to Canopy in July. Job well done team! Jonathan McCoy
