The hotel was very budget friendly. In fact, I was relieved that it wasn't a dive hotel. For the price, it was decent. The lobby and hallways were very clean. During our stay, only 1 of the various staff members acknowledged us. Not a deal breaker but slightly off-putting.
The room was efficient and clean. However, the beds and pillows were horribly uncomfortable. I believe I would have been more comfortable sleeping in my car. We could easily hear patrons next door and above us.
The breakfast "buffet" was typical. It included the basic eggs, sausage, pastries, juices and coffee. It was typical hotel breakfast flavor but I shouldn't complain considering the extremely budget friendly daily price. Thankfully, salt, pepper and other condiments were provided and helped combat the somewhat bland flavor.
My children were appreciative of the pool after a long day of walking. It was small and the water was very cloudy. My kids didn't mind.
For a budget friendly hotel, it was ok and served it's purpose. For my family's needs and preferences, I won't book with this chain again.

We had a great time at this hotel. My only complaints were the pool was too cold, which didn't deter my kid, but I sure didnt enjoy being in there with her. Which is a bummer because I love a pool. The shower is also extremely slippery. Both of my kids fell and I almost did more than once. Otherwise, it was very nice and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly.

I had a room on the 2nd floor. The people above me were up at 4:15 both mornings walking around heavily, slamming the door and being very loud. Other people on my floor were up around 6:00 am talking loudly in the hallways, children running and doors slamming. It is not a place to get a good nights sleep.
The rooms were weirdly furnished. I had a double queen bed room. The bed side table between both beds was placed far away from both beds so it was virtually unusable. The door opened up almost immediately into the first bed. You can not move the beds as they are on platforms.
I did like that there was no carpet in the room. The bathroom was well sized and enough room for me and my two adult daughters, however a bit more counter space would have been nice.
The breakfast was nice as well. I liked the fresh fruit, especially the fresh raspberries.
They need to fix the door hinges and prevent the doors from slamming and post quiet hour signs in the hallways since some guests don't realize other people are also in the hotel.

One night stay on road trip with my wife and two kids. The room was just fine, but the location and hotel aren't super sound proof. If you're in the road side like we were you will hear traffic. It's not overbearing, but if you're not already accustomed to it, it'll stand out. Could hear guests, esp. kids in other rooms and the floor above. I'm sure my kids gave as good as they got though, so my apologies to other guests.

The place was super clean and trendy. Stayed with my wife and two kids and it was good. Hard floors are good looking, but you can hear stomping around and suitcases rolling on upper floors. I do wish the bathrooms had a lock. But, the stay was definitely cozy!

This hotel is close by to Biltmore, but it’s far enough away that you’re not in all the chaos. It’s very modern, updated, and extremely clean. The beds were comfortable, and the continental breakfast was great. I have absolutely zero complaints. I stayed here solo with my 3 kids, and I felt safe. The only issue (according to my kids) is that the indoor pool needs to be heated. Otherwise, STAY HERE! It’s well worth it. If we return to Asheville, we will definitely stay here again.

Had to switch to Glo hotel last minute after some very questionable reviews from the original one we booked. And we were very glad we did :) Very clean, nice front desk staff, decent housekeeping, yummy breakfast, and close to downtown. The rooms were modern and clean and the beds were very comfy. The shades kept the light fully out so we slept like babies lol. Overall, if you want a hotel close to all the fun things in Asheville without being too expensive, Glo is a great choice.

Our friend's cabin was unexpectedly unavailable for the last night of our trip to Asheville so we had to find a room fast. Rooms downtown were way too expensive and we wanted a clean hotel to stay in and I remembered passing the GLO Hotel back on forth to the cabin earlier that week so I checked it out. I sure am glad we stayed there. The room rates were good, the hotel staff was very friendly and the lobby/rooms were very modern and clean.
It's about a 6 min drive to downtown and less than 5 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway entrance.
I'm pretty picky about where I stay with my family and I was quite surprised by Best Western's GLO Hotel.

We had a great stay a short family trip. The pool was great. The breakfast is one of the best I have had to be included in the hotel stay. I liked that it was close to several restaurants and shopping. If we are in for another stay we will do it again.

Excellent Upscale Decor Hotel. I selected this property due to its close proximity to the neighborhood where our friends live. PERFECT Choice!!! Our 6 night stay was so comfortable and easy to get out & about and quick getting "home" after several full days of sight seeing.
The room hosted me (61M) and my Mom (83). Cleanliness perfect, Linens & Towels nice, 2 Double Beds, very comfortable. Bathroom was modern upscale w/ walkin shower LOVED IT. Want the same bathroom for my home.
We only had breakfast downstairs once, since we ate at our friend's home 5 out of 6 days. The Continental Breakfast was good. Fresh, Hot, Flavorable and Plentiful.
Only short coming.....the walls/floors are a bit thin. We could occassionally hear folks (children) running along the corridors above or the room above. However, nothing that distracted or disrupted our sleep.
High Point.......Glo's Staff. First, there was a mix up about our checkout date prior to our arrival. Skaylar straightened out the glitch, got us the extra night and looked after us the entire week we were in residence. Curtious, Genuine and very Helpful. He is an asset to the organzation. The second employee of note was Evan. Evan was our first point of face-2-face contact and an easy guy to get comfortable with and helped us get settled in. Either Evan or Skylar were always on duty and left us with a sense of being well looked after.
I would not hesitate to stay at GLO again ANY time I travel to Asheville
