Holiday Inn Express and Suites Asheboro, an IHG Hotel

The property was on the newer side and well-maintained. It was clean and comfortable. It was kid-friendly. However, the staff seemed unfriendly, disinterested, and were unhelpful. There were a couple times I asked for information about the area and the answer was a shrug with “I don’t know”. Then they charged me $250 for something ridiculous which I’m still fighting. Keep in mind when staying here there are no Uber, Lyft, taxi, transportation services, or public transportation.

the lady when we checked in was super nice no complaints. My issue starts with the lady on night shift who was beyond rude to me and my family. She threaten to call the police and kick us out because we’re being “too loud” yet no one from beside us ever complained it wasn’t until she came banging on our door that the gentleman across from us came out of his door half asleep asking what was going on due to the way she was acting. We were already in bed making sure our bags were packed for the next day and she comes saying people from downstairs were complaining because we were stomping at no time was anybody acting a fool especially because we were all tired I wasn’t able to sleep waiting for the police she supposedly called. If you had an issue with us because we’re Hispanic just say that next time. I give this hotel 0 stars if I could

Great hotel for family vacation

This was the ideal hotel for a family trip to the NC Zoo, very clean, rooms well arranged, helpful staff.

The room was clean and pristine upon my arrival. Continental breakfast provided an array of options including muffins, bagels, cereals, pancakes, and several meat options. Check in and check out was quick and simple. This was a perfect place to stay while visiting family for the holidays.

Had to take an emergency stay here for a sick kid. I'm kind of a hotel snob, but this was the only thing in the area. I found it pleasantly clean, new, and the staff was wonderful/accommodating. Great price. I would absolutely come back again.

Great space for a large family.

After cleaning out my apartment in town, packing a 20ft U-Haul to the gills, and facing a 7 hour trip to my new home in Georgia, I needed a break! Chose to get a good nights rest at the local Holiday Inn Express. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The showers were great, and the breakfast was hot and tasted great. When I go back to Asheboro to visit family I will definitely stay here again!

The pool was closed due to the health department shutting it down, and it was the sole reason we picked the hotel. They would not give us a discount, and our kids were very disappointed we could not swim. The pancake machine was also broken, as well as the blinds in our room. Very disappointed.
