The property is very nice. However the condition of some of the things inside the room are not in the best condition. There was some black stuff in the shower molding. My kids used the pool but the place is closed off and the smell of chlorine is too strong, we could not stay there for long. Overall it's a good place to stay if you plan on visiting downtown Buffalo.

We rolled up pretty late in the evening. And I realize NY is not the Midwest, so I didn’t expect friendliness or warmth. But when we got to our room, the hallway was dirty, like someone had smushed crackers into the carpet or something. Our bathroom door wouldn’t shut. When we called for room service, there was no answer. And when we tried to use the QR code to order in suite dining, the search bar didn’t work for anything. Nothing at all on the menu came up. So that was frustrating, and none of us were dressed for a restaurant. Also the shower head sprayed everywhere except inside the shower. My kids had a nice time because it was a new experience. And it was good to have somewhere to stay where we weren’t all squeezed in to a tiny room. I’d say for the price and the inconvenience of turning my car over to a $25 per day valet (which was not something I saw on either Expedia or on the hotel website), they could at least vacuum the floor. I will say the restaurant staff was really really nice and helpful. And the food was so good. So so good. Everything else felt like it was ever-so-slightly broken down and it was an annoyance to the staff help people who had been on the road for 9 hours. I paid a lot for just a one-night stop-over on the way to somewhere else. I don’t feel like I got my money’s worth. I’d have gotten better service at a Days Inn, AND I could kept have my car keys. Now we know for next time we have to stop in Buffalo.

I was not happy with my experience. I was told the pool would be opened which is one of the reasons I stayed here. Once I got there they said they are still closed. They put me on a floor where a hockey team was staying. It was load all night I have a brand new baby and called security 2-3 times and nothing happened. Had experience over all

The suite was dirty specifically the bath tub and carpet. The swimming pool was not available the entire weekend. We had to spend $230.00 to takeourkids to 6 glags to swim.

We arrived at the hotel and immediately there was a big snafu with a major construction project and we got literally stuck in the valet because there was no where to drive. Another customer behind us got mad at us until the valet came. Then we got to the room and there were only pillows for the bed and not the pullout, even though 4 people were staying there. We asked for more but they sent up one more. Details! Then we only had 2 towels, again for 4 people. The pool was under construction as well, with no notice of that before booking and my kids were devastated. THEN the toilet didn’t work and when we called the front desk they said they knew about that. Then why book a family of 4 in a room without a working toilet?? They told us they didn’t have anyone to fix it until the morning and that we could simply use the fitness facilities down the hall. It was not a nice experience at all to feel like living in a dorm situation. Plus I couldn’t let my kids go down the hall unattended so we had to keep going in and out of the room at all hours of the night. When we discussed the problems with the front desk clerk at checkout he said there was nothing he could do but maybe comp the valet fee. Wow. Then he slowly agreed to comp the stay and provided a receipt of $0. Two weeks later our credit card has not been refunded. We feel that he just placated us with a dummy receipt so we’d leave without true resolution. The only positive part of the stay was breakfast and Lionel was great.

Before i left the front desk i also informed them how i walked into someone visible PRIVATE PARTS & urinating on the hotel floor and my daughter was just in the hall coming from the pool with her brother i was very upset at the thought of my child walking and seeing that instead of me overall it was ok
