Historic Hotel Broadalbin

Historic hotel with lots of charm. Owners care for the property is evident and the guests are in for an authentic experience. I will no longer stay at corporate hotels if at all possible- family owned businesses keep the world going. This place is an absolute gem!

Location is centrally located around restaurants, bars and our family. Staff was great, from owner to wait staff, bartender and cleaning lady. Stayed in the Saratoga room. Bed was a little squeaky and on first night other customers were on the balcony smoking and talking until pretty late. Not a hotel problem a lack on respect from customers. This is a no smoking property and signs are posted. Local area has limited Uber, Lyft. We do not recommend Glove City Cab, cars are unsafe, drivers are strange and they are not reliable showed up 30-45 minutes after they were supposed to. We will stay here again they treated us like family. This hotel is historic for sure.

Loved this hotel so much and my friends/family would tell you I have pretty high standards. Excellent management service. They texted to ask when we would check in and called with instructions (with a text follow up so I didn’t have to write anything down). The decor was very very cute. I am already planning to stay here when my boyfriend and I come back for Christmas.
