Comfort Suites Carlsbad

Great hotel for families. Friendly, helpful staff, clean, comfortable rooms, nice pool, free breakfast and snacks in the afternoon (which our grandkids loved)

Fabulous hotel, all suites. Tons of room for the family to stay in the room, super clean, friendly staff, and a great breakfast!

Room was very clean, comfortable bed and pillows. All areas were clean in the hotel. Very warmly greeted at check in. Great shower with strong water pressure. Area felt safe. Minor was that there was a small area on the carpet that must have had a prior stain. Major problem was that the room next to us could have been a connecting room and we could hear EVERYTHING including the TV show they were watching. A family arrived in the room next to us around 10 pm and were so loud we could no longer sleep until they finally went to sleep around midnight. It was pretty bad. Scary times these days with people right now so we did not want to complain. Not sure if we would stay here again because of this.

This hotel was conveniently located for us to visit Carlsbad Caverns. There were some fun food options nearby. The outdoor pool is unheated and absolutely freezing, so that was a big disappointment for my kids.

A quiet and comfortable stay for our family as we visited Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe National Park. The hotel is near a busy road but we couldn’t hear any road noise from our 4th floor room. We asked to not be near the elevator but ended up right across from it. Decided not to make a big deal out of it. The room was surprisingly quiet. We never heard the elevator. The beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed having the extra space with a couch for relaxing and reading. The lobby was nice. The free breakfast was above average. Would definitely stay here again.

This was hands down one of the nicest hotels we stayed at during our 2 week family cross-country road trip! Family of five booked a 2 queen suite with sofa bed and the room was HUGE! Everything was VERY clean (which is important to us). The other good reviews are what led us to this hotel and we were impressed. We loved the popcorn and milk and cookies in the lobby when we checked in. Breakfast was good as well. Don’t have a bad thing to say about this place.

The hotel was inviting & welcoming after a long day of road tripping with the kids. The only concern is the amount of noise you could hear between floors. The floors must have been thin as our neighbor below complained of our noise and I could even hear the people around us as well. It was fully booked the night we stayed though.

This was a wonderful stay for our family with children! The landscaping is beautiful, the facilities are very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and they have a lot of fun things to make your stay extra special, especially for children: they had cookies and milk, coffee, tea, and lemon water out upon our arrival. They have a little popcorn machine in the lobby. Our kids loved it! Very close to the Living Desert Zoo and had a beautiful view of the historic Flume a couple blocks away. I highly recommend staying here, and if we return to Carlsbad, this is where we will go!

Myself, my wife, and our two children stayed at this property for two nights while visiting nearby Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Parks. Our hotel stay was an outstanding experience overall. The grounds were clean and well maintained. Our suite, beds and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The hot breakfast was really good, and the popcorn machine in the lobby was a great amenity for the kids. The hotel staff were attentive and helpful. The only downside was that the swipe keys didn't work half the time on our room door, but the staff assisted by replacing them every time we had the issue. Other than that, we had an excellent stay at the Comfort Suites Carlsbad, NM. Highly Recommended!

The staff was excellent in taking care of our needs. They were friendly kept the area clean. The pool and hot tub in working condition. The room large enough for me and my grandkids to enjoy the visit.
