I like the location and the room I’ve stayed at this hotel, the only thing I don’t like is the swimming pool, the water looks dirty so none of my kids want to jump in there even though they loved to swim and they’ve been swimming at every single hotels we stopped by on our way from California to Florida and back

Our flight was canceled due to bad weather. We have stayed at this Hyatt Place many times in the past when visiting our family. It was convenient to the airport with a shuttle that runs every 1/2 hour beginning at 4:30 am! (We caught it at 5:30 am along with several other folks.) The driver even took us down to the end near the SWA terminal.

Hotel is very clean. Staff was courteous. No complaints. The hotel was very quiet considering we were there for an event with families.

It's been a while since we've stayed at this Hyatt Place in Albuquerque, NM. This was much different than my previous experiences. The room (401) smelled musty and faint oder of smoking. We were out of our room all 3 days until 3-4pm and our room was never cleaned. We had to hunt down clean towels from the maid cart. And, what is this about $11/night for parking???? I had trouble downloading the QRS code and the staff was very helpful, but really? You're charging for parking now?? The front desk was very professional, responsive and helpful in all aspects. The fire alarm went off around 0500 AM and the elevators were broken when we awoke. They did get them fixed by that afternoon. The breakfast was so crowded and the "guests" so rude. I know Albuq is a "sanctuary city". None of these families spoke English which makes me wonder if Hyatt is housing some of these boarder crossers. They made a mess of the dining area, piled their plates high with food leaving little else for other guests. They acted as though we were intruding on THEIR breakfast. I probably won't stay here again unfortunately. I live in Ruidoso and we do travel to Albuquerque frequently, but I will most likely chose another hotel.

This is a decent hotel for an overnight stay. My family stayed 2 nights and discovered its not the best accommodation to try to settle into. The staff were kind, however, the property is starting to feel a bit run-down (elevators were suspect and rooms had the feel of being cleaned too quickly). It's also located in a weird spot next to the airport. The roadways are awkward, so it feels like you can't get away from the hotel or back to it, quickly. Beds were comfy and the breakfast was good. So again, for an inexpensive overnight, its a good place. For a place to get comfy in, it leaves a bit to be desired.

I’ve been staying here for years. Wife and I enjoyed it on a family stay. Since Covid the place has gone down. They did not tell me me they were not cleaning the rooms unless requested. I use to love the breakfast here before Covid. Then they went to jimmy dean sandwhiches which were much better than what the are cooking now that Covid restrictions have relaxed. Powdered eggs microwaved pancakes and not even the make your own waffles. Going to have to swap hotels I think.

The first night, didn't realized it only had two double size bed and a sofa bed. The second night got upgraded to a king with sofa bed, but room smell like smoke. Checked in late and kids were tired. Told the front desk at checkout said nothing they can do since i booked with a third-party. After contacting hotels.com (for 2 days) they gave me point on my Hyatt app.. but not enough for one night stay... still needed more points...
