I'm local and I've never stayed at the Clyde, but have been a long time customer of Heritage Hotels. I'm always satisfied with my stay, but this visit in particular had many obstacles.
When I called in the morning of check-in, they had a room available for early checkin right away which was great. I had requested a microwave at that point and they said they'd take it to the room right away. That never happened. The elevators were on and off working for my stay of less than 24 hours. I was on the 10th floor with three kids. I had to leave them alone several times in order to go up and down the stairs. There was also a time where staff was trying to help and allowed us to use the admin elevators, but took though a hallway full of a puddled floor. When the kids were done swimming, I went to go order food from 1922 and the kitchen closed at 9:00. For a hotel located in downtown Albuquerque, I was not expecting the only kitchen to close an hour before the pool even closed, nor was I warned. Finally, when we went to breakfast the next day, half the items on the menu were not available.
I did complain to the front desk, and they seemed annoyed to be listening to my complaint.
The two things I was satisfied with is the cleanliness of the hotel, and the gentleman who helped me check-in. He greeting me when I drove up, helped me to the front desk, and took my bags to my room, no questions asked. I wish I took his name to provide him a proper kudos.

We had a staycation. The kids had a great time.... They loved the pool, personally I think the should be deeper.... I think the whole pool is pool 4 foot.... But the vibe at the pool at night was amazing. The fire pit was lit.....and the Hot Tub was so relaxing. Being such a nice hotel.... They really should extend the closing time for the pool. Room was very clean. The bathroom was also very clean.... The front desk staff was very nice. Definitely recommend this hotel..... And we will definitely go back.

Super clean and super friendly service. I loved the art deco aesthetic! It was conveniently located as well. This hotel will be the first on my list of places to stay next time my family and I visit.

My kiddo and I adore the Clyde. It's a tall, shiny building with fancy elevators and an elegant lobby and heated outdoor pools. The staff are friendly and solicitous of kids' whims. They put us in a room on a high floor; treated us to cookies and milk; and were kind and patient and welcoming of my kiddo's exuberant commentary. I've never paid an extraordinary amount either - it's a little pricier than humbler motels but the perks more than make up for it. We will make the Clyde our go-to hotel whenever we visit Albuquerque.

This is the only hotel I’ll ever stay at when I’m in Albuquerque! This is the second yearly vacation I’ve made to Albuquerque and have stayed at The Clyde with my family and my stay was above expectations. My sisters and I were upgraded to a suite and we were running behind and our check out was extended, at no extra costs. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are SO comfy, the bathrooms are an amazing size and the views are awesome. This area has plenty of restaurants and places to go that are very near.

This was our second stay at the Clyde. The first time, in August, we were looking for a pet friendly hotel, and we were very surprised that a beautiful downtown hotel allowed dogs. The lobby is stunning, and restaurant, lounge, juice bar and grab and go shop allow you to stay in or go out. A number of restaurants within a mile or so, as well. Easy parking in the garage below the hotel. The street scene on Central is colorful but sketchy at night. The price is surprisingly reasonable for such a nice experience. We also like the historical information about the hotel's namesake. This will be our place to stay when we visit family in ABQ.

Room was nice. Hotel amenities were poor. Didn’t see the restaurant open once. If I wanted food I had to walk nearby locations through homeless people. (Not the hotels fault but the area is not the best). Sunday morning nothing was open, only the gift shop.
Swimming pool was packed with kids playing offensive music, no pool service at all, not relaxing.
I wouldn’t chose downtown for a stay in ABQ.

It was family-for my birthday. I asked for a I high room with a view. Got floor 13 with view of nothing!! Was not told about the cost of parking. They knew it was my birthday they could of at least comp that. Room smelt of wet dog!!!
