We have stayed here in the past but it’s been over 2 years. In that time, they now house transients. There was no advisement of the new situation. Across the hall from our room, 3-4 children were left alone and in the middle of the night, a man banged on their door and started yelling wanting to know where the mother was. Someone later came by and removed the children. As the night went on…we’re now at about 2am…there was a lot of door slamming, banging, yelling…
The next few nights were similar. In addition, there seemed to be a parade of people walking through the hallway knocking loudly on doors.
I wonder if Holiday Inn corporate is aware of what is going on in their Haskell, NJ location?

Clean, well staffed, generous breakfast, view of pond, grocery store nearby, convenient location off I-287… only negative was large group of noisy kids playing in the hallway, pool, eating area over the weekend.

Property was in a good location, very noisy, kids going in and out of rooms all night. Ice machine was. Outside of room and this also made it noisy with the machine and people. Absolutely no hot water!!

Clean hotel with breakfast. There are swimming classes for the outside kids. Swimming instructors teach the local kids and there's not space for the hotel guests. We picked this hotel b/c of the pool that we could not use. It was very disappointing.

The location is excellent. Right next to major highways but no noise from the highways. 10 to 15 min drive from most resturants and attractions. Really quiet area. Beautifully landscaped outside the hotel with ample parkng. Clean and modern when you walk in. Staff are friendly and professional. Breakfast area is to your right when you enter and check-in desk to your left and pool is straight ahead. Quiet family hotel. No rowdy teenagers or partiers. I got a good nights rest. The sheets had small stains on them. It looked as if someone was eating takeaway in bed and dropped food. I got turndown service on the 3rd night and was expecting my sheets to be changed as is common on your third night. The sheets were not changed. Breakfast was just ok. Hot eggs of some sort every morning with a choice between a pork protein (bacon or sausage) or turkey sausage. One day they had biscuits and gravey but that serving tray remained empty for the remainder of my stay. Coffee was good, they also have tea, yogurt, packaged muffins that aren't very good, and cinnamon rolls. Cereal and a pancake maker. Overall my experience was good and besides the sheet issue, the hotel is very clean and safe. But for $200 a night, it should have been great. You shouldn't charge that much if you are skimping on bedsheets. I mentioned this during checkout and got an $11 reimbursement.

Property was clean and room was nice. Breakfast served it’s purpose. Deskl Staff not very hospitable or overall very pleasant; seemed annoyed they had to talk to people- this was the same for the woman at PM check in and different lady there this morning. Cleaning staff though always smiling and very very pleasant!!! Pool was fun but I guess they allow an outside company to use it for toddler swimming lessons during the day. A lot of annoyed moms that guests were swimming in the pool same time as their kids getting swim lessons that they had paid for… weird dynamic is all. Overall hotel and the cleaning staff- 5 stars; hotel staff behind the desk 3/5 stars

The hotel was good! I loved that our room and bathroom was clean. The staff however is not welcoming. Janet at the front desk was miserable and we all know the old saying misery loves company! I had a delivery at the front desk and she assumed I was taking it to the pool quickly chastising me “no food is allowed at the pull” granted the bag had playing cards, ziplock bags and mints! I asked for the address for my delivery and without acknowledgment, looking down at a piece of paper she pointed at a sign. She seems to be someone that forgets that those staying at the hotel is paying her salary and are there for a great time not to be chastised as if we are her children.

This property has a LOT of people staying over that clearly do not know how to handle themselves in a hotel. Consequently, there were kids running in the halls carrying on all night.
Also, be sure to get a top floor room because I had people who thought they were elephants above me, stomping until about 2 am.
