Residence Inn Hamilton

Was here one night for a wedding that was nearby. Facilities were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. Rooms had small kitchenettes so you could keep food and/or cook in the room. This was great as we were her with many family members and we got to hang out after the reception without disturbing other hotel guests.

Room was clean and a decent size. The pullout sofa was the most uncomfortable one that I have ever slept on, So I let my kids have the bed so they would get a good night sleep.

Our family rented the 2 bedroom suite. Despite being the top rated hotel in the area the experience was very disappointing. The WiFi was not available on Thursday and Friday - work and school days for the family, which made things quite challenging re important business meetings and school assignments. One of the sink wouldn’t drain properly. Further, while the room rate was adjusted to include breakfast for everyone - breakfast was highly disappointing. Breakfast included: orange juice, apple, blueberry muffin, yogurt, brown sugar granola bars, a few high sugar cold cereal and skim milk. We’ve travel to other hotels during COVID (and understand the limitations/need for safe guidelines), these options by far were the most disappointing. Suggests, add another fruit option (banana/oranges), apple juice, healthier granola and cereal options. We did enjoy the coffee, and was appreciative of the late check out, which we ended up just checking out at the regular time.
