Best Western Paramus Hotel & Suites

I came here with a baby on my arms at 3am after a new year’s celebration , specifically to have a peacful night and not drive home at night. I reserved the room well in advance. I also checked in online couple of hours prior me coming in. They messed up and it turned out the gave my room to someone else. Someone literally came and sign a paper with my name on top of that paper. That means if that person ate something or got something from a hotel , it couldve ended up on my card. They did not ask their ID! And the front desk guy refused to wake them up saying it was a middle of the night. And we were standing with baby in the middle of the night. The guy could not give me another room for like 40 minutes. He gave me a different room but with one bed. And we needed two beds. Needless to say we had sleepless night. I complained to a manager over the email. He never replied. They cared about customers who signed without ID under my name but they could care less about us with a baby. No words.

In town to visit family. Arrived really early on a Red Eye at Newark airport. Got to the hotel around 8am. Way too early to check in. Asked if we could get in early if at all possible. Was told, "they would have a room by 1 for sure" We were then invited to have breakfast since we were there. An hour later, the young man at the front desk told me he had a room for me. WOW! What a treat and very welcome, because we were dead tired. FANTASTIC SERVICE! They saved our butts.Thank you ,thank you...

The outside of this hotel makes you question what the inside will look like, but I was pleasantly surprised as we walked in. It looked very well kept from the lobby to the dining area to the room we stayed in. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but not the worst. The breakfast options were very good for free breakfast (eggs - scrambled & boiled, oatmeal, waffles with kid friendly toppings, crispy bacon, cereal, juice, coffee & more). There were a couple of reviews that spoke of how they didn't like how close this property is to the major highway. We've stayed in other hotels on NJ-17 whwre this property is located before & never had problems so we figured we would be fine; HOWEVER, we had no idea what these reviews were talking about until we actually experienced it. As you approach the entrance to the property you have to cross over a merging lane of cars entering NJ-17 from the NJ TPKE. The entrance is a short 200ft away from the exit. For this reason I will not stay again despite all of the positives.

Very friendly staff. Great customer service! They accommodated us the best they can and they went above and beyond. Room was clean and whatever we needed, they provided. My family and I really enjoyed staying here and will definitely visit again.

Employees were wonderful. Made me feel like they were family. Wonderful experience. Will come here again and recommend to friends

The staff was friendly and eager to help. The room was clean. But there is no elevator!!! We had to hand carry our luggage up the stairs. Staff offered to help but i don’t carry cash for a tip (and If there were an elevator i wouldn’t have had to pay a tip at all). We chose this place because it was close to the family event that brought us to town. I also chose this place over other choices because it had free breakfast and in room fridge and microwave. There is a red Lobster attached to the hotel. But the environment is ugly. It’s on the highway.

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Paramus, NJ motel and were very please with the staff and room. Also the nearness to my nieces house so we could be close by and be with family for Thanksgiving.
