Silverland was close to the wedding venue where we were attending. Carrie C. was especially cordial and went out of her way to accomodate several requests we had, e.g. late arrival, getting a refrigerator because we had a baby with us, and giving us recommendation for local restaurant & park. My only negative feedback is that I believe I used one credit card when booking with Expedia, but the hotel had another card on file. Not sure how that happened. Anyway, I did not have the number/card of the one I thought was on file & therefore I lost out on earning mileage credits on the card I wanted to use. Lastly, the desk told me the check out time was 10 am, and the cleaning crew were at my door waiting for me to leave, when the advertised check out time was 11 am.

We have stayed many times. The 2nd from last time they could not find me in the system even though i showed my reservation. They were sold out nearest motel was 40 min away i wasnt happy but luckily they had an emergency room. Just as i walk in the room i got stopped turns out my name was put in wrong. Fast forward to this trip couldnt find me again. Was talking to the lady turns out it was the new owner. She felt really bad and embarassed. She called the co owner and they got it fixed even got us a playpen for the baby and put us right by the breakfast room. Will definitely be back.

One of my absolute favorite places to stay when visiting Virginia City. Well, technically, I am a local because I live here but I guess this is my favorite place to book for my family and friends to stay when visiting Virginia City. I recently booked a three night stay for my stepson for a pre-holiday celebration. He absolutely loved everything about this hotel. They are so kind and welcoming. Everything is clean and fresh. They always go the extra step to make you feel welcomed. Highly highly recommend.

It was a bit old and could use some TLC but the staff was so kind and friendly. And it was close by to everything. Very kid friendly

We checked in past the time when the office was open and it was a smooth process. Comfortable room for our family if 6, and such a nice town! The kids enjoyed our brief stay. Would recommend.

We stayed at the Silverland Hotel for a family reunion. It has two main halls (one upstairs, one down) so it was easy to find and run into family members frequently. Breakfast at the hotel is all carbs…oatmeal packets, bagels, English muffins, some fruit, no protein. But the breakfast area is nice and has vending machines. We stayed in the honeymoon suite, which was spacious and charming. I’d definitely stay there again. Virginia City itself was wonderful!

Had a great stay again! Concerned about staying right next to the elevator, room 216, but couldn't hear any disturbing noise from it. Slept like babies!

Rooms are spacious and kids loved the extra room in suite and pool. Wasn't crazy about the road up but it was nice and quiet.

The breakfast was disappointing. It was juice, coffee, oatmeal, dry cereal and i think that was it. They had a nice vending machine with food you can microwave but it only takes cash. We got in late so there was nothing to eat. The kids were hungry. I am not familiar with the area at all. The pool and spa was nice. But in my room you could not open a window for fresh air. The sink pipping kind of made a sound but bathing was fine. There could be better updates on the hotel. I know its suppose to give an old feel but accessibility was slim to non. And this town is very small and way up in the mountains. We had to frive 20ml just for food the kids would eat.
