I reserved the weekend at Skyline by myself due to a family member passing away. I wasnt sure what to expect upon arrival but the price was right so I booked. My stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel has been updated, room was really nice, bed was comfortable, and shower pressure was good. Everything was within close proximity within the casino. It is a smaller casino but they have live music and the dance floor was full. Restaurant had great service and food with a little bit of everything on the menu. The slots also didnt do me wrong! Overall I would recommend anyone to stay at the Skyline who wants a more laid back stay and doesn't want to deal with the hassle of some of the bigger casinos. I also felt completely safe being there by myself on this solo trip. Ussually, I am accompanied by three kids and a husband so that was important to me. Oh and one last thing, the pool is small but it looked clean. Have a great stay!

Upon check in, it smelled like death and I asked what or who died. I was informed by the young front desk gal that a hotel frequent resident had passed. He’d been there for a few days before it was noticed and our check in day was the day he was discovered. The smell was awful and the flies were disgusting. The poor gal had a box fax on her and a small little fan on the waiting room table with doors open. Her response “it’s natural” as I understand but I was also with my child. Overall, gross and was appalled at the people even going into the restaurant with such a strong stinch.

Not a bad hotel, decent stay for the price.
It was clean, which is always nice.
Staff was very friendly.
The furniture in the room was in need of repairs and the fire place did not work, but overall a good stay.
Neighborhood using the most family friendly, especially with all the boarded up mobile homes in the back lot.

I made the unfortunate mistake of setting my AirPods case on the bed while packing up before checkout. I did not realize that I had forgotten it until I was about 100 miles away. I called the hotel and asked them if they could hold them for me until a family member could come pick them up. They let me know that none were found and I was out of luck, but they would call me if they were found. It is so unfortunate that people today cannot be honest. Very disappointed that the staff cleaning the room would keep property that was not theirs. I completely understand that it is my mistake for leaving them, but I am still disappointed in people’s greed.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had booked a room for 2 and then ended up having our child come with who was going to sleep on the floor. When the check in host heard this she found us a room with 2 beds at no extra charge.

Why is the front desk person always so unfriendly? Is this just the most awful place to work??
It was quiet until kids came running through the hallway at 3am, no fault of the hotel.
Food at the restaurant was not that good but the waitress was very nice

As a female traveling alone, I look for places that are in a safe area. This place was clean and in a great area. The parking area is small which is what I prefer. Per feet if you’re traveling alone or with a family. It’s less that 15 minutes to the airport as well.

My family and I were only stopping for the night, were looking for something away from the Strip, and someplace that didn't require parking, resort, or pet fees! This hotel hit all the check marks and then some. It's located in an industrial, kind of rundown end of North Las Vegas. But don't let that fool you! As soon as you step into the Skyline you'll be pleasantly surprised by how well they've decorated and how friendly staff is. The actual rooms are very spacious, comfortable and clean! My partner gets headaches if there's too much cigarette smoke in the air, but the hotel does an excellent job of keeping that smell contained only in the casino. They've also got a restaurant that served pretty delicious food. A bar is available but you can also order a drink while eating, you just have to pay separately and immediately to the cocktail girl.

The hotel was clean and had plenty of room. The staff was very nice and the atmosphere was comfortable enough that 13 year old daughter kept asking when we would be coming back to visit. They even made accommodations for her pet. Overall excellent place to stay for the family.
