Very clean location with friendly staff. The woman working in the breakfast room during out visit was nice and the breakfast room was immaculate and organized. The Seattle's Best coffee was so delicious that i ordered some to arrive home before i do. I stayed at this location 2 years ago and had the best biscuits and gravy for breakfast and was disappointed that in my 4 day visit, there was no biscuits and gravy offered. Also, I was told there was no alcohol selection at the lounge, which was disappointing. I enjoyed having the pool all to myself, but i wished there was a jacuzzi. My real concern was after spending $750 to stay there for 4 days, i was immediately told no when i asked if i could check out at noon instead of 11. I stayed in 6 hotels over 2 weeks, and this was the only hotel that would not consider allowing an extra hour for check out. Surprisingly as it was a Monday and the hotel was dead. I would still return as its close to my family and an overall great stay.

Positives-
Clean!
Great water pressure in shower.
Breakfast
Negatives-
The front desk lady made it painful to check in. She read everyone each word pertaining to cleanliness and no smoking or would be charged $250 fee. I've stayed at at least 100 different hotels and never have i experienced a lengthy check in process as i did here. Then while she was trying to get through all the monotonous garble, a lady walked past with her grandchildren. So the desk clerk then focused her attention on her saying "hey, you didn't pay for those kids to be here". Are you kidding me? I'm a grandma that travels for Thanksgiving and has my grandchildren hang out with me at the hotel with a swimming pool and I've never been acosted about the kids coming in with me like i witnessed last night. This desk clerk woman really should become a cop. Anyway... besides that - the pillows were pretty bad, so bring your own. And in our room the tv wouldn't come on, but i didn't want to deal with the front desk lady's long-winded talking, so i just let it go.
The hotel overall isn't bad, but because of my check in experience i will not be staying here on our way back through this Saturday.

Rooms were average size. Located in a good area. Traveled with family, and everyone felt safe. Breakfast had good options.

Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast has a lot of options like eggs and waffles. Pool is small but the kids had fun. Area around hotel is clean and quiet.

Tara was fantastic. She went out of her way to help. Breakfast was great and the pool was wonderful, great hours, very warm & clean. Not fillr=ed with screaming kids. Staff works very hard. I'd definately return. Good location.

I did not care for their pet policy. While I completely understand their viewpoint, having to pay more and sign that I will not leave them in the room really put a significant damper on our trip. I need the ability to go to places like restaurants, or even down to breakfast within the same hotel and be able to leave the dogs in the room. I had to sign that I will not bring them in the lobby, must use side entrances only, cannot leave them unattended in the room or risk them being submitted to a shelter, cannot bring them in the pool or the lounge etc. While I understand all this from a business perspective, as a mom I need to be able to watch my kids in the pool and eating breakfast. So do I choose staying with my kids or my dogs because I cannot be in 2 places at once and creating a safety issue. It made it really hard on the family for the weekend.
Also, our door was very sticky and hard to open and close. We returned one day to our door not closed and therefore our room was left unlocked all day from the cleaning staff. All of our stuff and valuables were left unprotected. When I mentioned it to the front desk, their excuse was the sticky door. If the door is a known issue, then the staff should be aware to ensure it is closed, or the door fixed. Leaving my stuff and room unlocked and unprotected all day is not excusable from a known issue they have not addressed. The staff was unapologetic and dismissive as if this is a common complaint (an unresolved one)!
