We had a great time at Yellowstone and our accommodations at Gray Wolf were spot on! We had 5 people and the room was comfortable and had an extra mirror/sink, which helped a lot. The staff were super friendly and professional. There were S’mores kits every night which the kids enjoyed. The breakfast bar each morning was good. It was located right across from the wildlife rehabilitation center, which we didn’t get a chance to tour but heard was great. Short walking to tourist shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

For the price, I thought it would be cleaner and more updated. Our room smelled musty. There is a HUGE pothole in the parking lot. It had rained so we did not realize how deep it was until too late. The pool and spa were small and so-so. The ice cream and s’mores at night were a hit with the kids.

Overall, was a great place to stay. Bath rooms could been alittle cleaner and could use an update. The bonfire and smores were a great touch for the kids. Would stay there again.

Great stay other than people not controlling their children until after midnight. Children running around stomping and jumping until late at night. Staff was great. Rooms great. Extras great.

It is nicely located to Yellowstone park and you can walk to many places. The elevator was horrible and should be replaced. I didnt feel it to be real clean. A little run down. Parking is not the best. Not really the hotels fault but neighbors were slamming the door over and over early in the morning with children running around screaming. More of people having a lack of respect for others. It is the only hotel i have stayed at in west yellowstone but it did fine for the purpose of one night. I think you pay for the area and closeness to yellowstone more than anything else.

The only good thing I can say is it’s close to the park entrance and McDonalds. We purchased two rooms 9 months in advance and they didn’t give us conjoining rooms with our kids. Our room smelled like some kind of middle eastern spices (curry) and we told them about it and some guy came up and sprayed a deodorizer in the room. That’s it. Needless to say it didn’t take care of the smell. Each day we left to go to the park and left the window open with a fan to air it out but it didn’t remove the smell. Very old facility. For as much as they charge they could upgrade. Both rooms you could actually see the slope of the floor when you look at the furniture. Everything sloped to the center of the room. As with everything in West Yellowstone it was severely overpriced.

Hotel was nice enough. No real issues to talk about with the stay building itself. However, the hotel does have a very gimmicky and in my opinion, disrespectful approach to pitting kids against their parents. Parents beware, the hotel will leave a plastic wrapped little stuffed animal on one of the beds upon arrival. Make no mistake, it isnt free, it's 25 dollars. I took the stuffed animal up to the front desk and told them to notate the account that i would not be charged for the wolf and did not want it in the room. I think it is in poor taste and practice to get a young child excited for a stuffed animal and to put the parent in the position of feeling guilt tripped to purchase it and if they don't, the child is upset.
The front desks way to remedy this is to just leave it in the room. No, i don't think so. So the child can just keep seeing it? Stick up for yourself through that junk, parents. Make them note the account and give you a written note also highlighting it as apparently notes disappear after the first day

No soap in dispenser, no Kleenex in dispenser. Noisy guests with children. Staff not very friendly.
Charges for extra amenities that we did not get because of limited hours. Breakfast marginal.

A great place to stay for Yellowstone. My kids loved it! The pool was clean and nice, breakfast was excellent. They even had S’Mores kits and a fire pit to make them over. A wonderful hotel.
