Super 8 by Wyndham Washington

1 night stay family emergency, convenient location to hospital, friendly staff, good breakfast and clean rooms. Only issue had to purchase 2 rooms due to family of 5

Arrived early for a family event and was told if we check in early there is a $40 charge which they said was the policy. Never thought so. We didn’t check in early when using the public restroom that was locked. It was very filthy and very smelly. The bathtub dripped water all night and the attendant that said we were going to be charged the $40 was very short and very rude

The beds were amazing! So comfortable and clean. The breakfast was pretty good. The first staff lady at check-in was just so-so. The last lady at check out was nicer. We did have kids running around and jumping above our heads which is your worst nightmare while staying at a hotel; however, by 11pm the noise stopped, so we were able to get some sleep. It was going again in the morning but I guess they checked out by 11 because we didn't hear ir the second night. other than that, it was pretty good.

I think people with children need to be on the ground floor and all together in one section. That way when people like me are there to sleep I don’t have to listen to children running jumping and slamming doors all night. Parents today do not discipline their kids or teach them respect. I paid good money to stay there and got zero sleep.

We spent 10 nights at the hotel for a family visit. Breakfast was adequate - biscuits & gravy, waffles, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, cereal - but kept fresh and replenished. Beds were very comfortable, and AC worked very well. Rooms are small (no room for rollaway in double queen room). Housekeeping staff was excellent, front desk staff friendly and helpful.

Clean and very comfortable bed. This basic room offers all the necessary amenities and the hotel managed to place several family together in the same hallway of rooms. The staff were friendly and they even opened the common room so we could all gather in the evenings.

I don't understand why this hotel has such positive reviews. This place is average, at best. NO WHERE did I see mentioned that there is no elevator, or I would not have stayed here. I was passing through after an extended family emergency and I had a lot of things with me--I was not going to make multiple trips up the stairs, so I asked to be reassigned to a 1st floor room. Luckily there was one available because there are only 4 rooms on the first floor--and then I felt bad for taking one of the few accessible rooms from someone who might need it. The front desk person was nice enough, I guess, but she was by herself and there were two parties in front of me when I checked in so it took forever. And then when I realized there was no elevator, I had to wait again to ask for a new room. Other than that, it was comfortable enough for an overnight stay?

My family needed a place to stay at the last minute due to a family member’s hospital stay. The ladies at the front were very accommodating to our needs. Thank you!
