Good free breakfast from 6 am to 10 am. There were recyclable paper plates and cups, but not a separate bin to put them in. We were there 3 nights and noticed the card in the room saying the rooms would be cleaned every other day "for our convenience", but did not know we would have to call to get it cleaned on the 3rd day. We got extra soap and towels from the maid, but she did not offer to clean the room. Room was larger than most, and seemed to be handicap accessible, although we did not ask for that. The bathroom had grab bars everywhere. Exercise room is great -- lots of different machines to use. Swimming pool is too small for laps, and too shallow for anyone but kids (less than 4 ft. deep). Very convenient to downtown Clayton on the south side, and nice walkable neighborhood streets on the north side.

The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Our rooms were comfortable and clean. Kids used the pool and enjoyed themselves. We will stay again when visiting family.

Okay the staff alone is reason enough to stay here! We had the worst start to a trip. Hertz really let us down and it was a long drive, but we were greeted to just an amazing person with a bright smile. The hotel was nice and my kids loved the pool. But the friendly faces and helpful staff is what made the stay great. The breakfast crew was so nice and chatted. They were understanding of my crazy kiddos running around. I as a tired, frazzled mama am ao grateful

I was charged $50 more than quoted on Expedia. We only booked there for the pool for our kids and it was closed for one day, the day we were there. There was no explanation as to why, the pool itself looked fine, and then it reopened as we were checking out. The maintenance man was rude to our children as well as the housekeeping staff when my niece was trying to get in to our room and they were blocking it and told her to wait.

Nice room, very clean property, well run and in a nice location. For a family weekend stay at 300 dollar/night rate, I found the breakfast offerings to bleak: mostly ultra processed food, lots and lots of added sugar with few alternatives, limited hot food of poor quality, paper plates, and plastic silverware only.

Our room was small but clean. The front desk personnel is very helpful. The breakfast has a large variety of items to choose from. The downside is parking. There is meter parking out front (which is a pain feeding a meter every few minutes or paying $12.00 to use the motel's garage. We chose the garage and it worked out fine for us. This was a family event we were attending and wanted our grandchildren to be able to use the motel pool. We solved the parking problem by having the family come in the evening and didn't have to deal with meters (checking meters were stopped at 5:00). I am writing this because I think it is important that motel guests know this. Twelve dollars these days is no big deal but it would be nice to knw ahead about this.

I booked this hotel for a weekend with extended family. The front desk person, Ashley, made sure the two rooms I had booked would be connected so the family could all be together during our stay. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They offered recommendations on things to do with the kids and places to eat as well. Our family enjoyed the indoor pool after a day spent in the sun at the zoo. The amenities were great and valet parking was definitely worth the additional cost. We're already planning our next visit to St. Louis and will definitely be staying here again.
