Hampton Inn St Louis-Airport

The guest check-in attendant Kia was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to make me and my children comfortable. After a 4 hour drive and the mistake of going to another hotel first (left that one quick from the disgusting environment), Kia got us settled in and even helped me find food and attractions around. She was the best part of our stay. Room was very clean. The whole hotel was clean. Great service period. My forever Go-to!

Breakfast didn’t have muffins/pastry items, bread was pretty picked over, limited selection. Rooms were ok but were pretty worn. Our kids struggled to get devices connected to the internet (it was an open network) and certain channels on the TV didn’t work. We are pretty strict on screen time except for vacations so they were disappointed. It was about 15-20 minutes from most everything and had free parking which is a bonus.

My sister and I traveled out of town for a family funeral and stayed at this hotel. Upon check-in I found the front desk staff to be friendly and helpful. However, when we woke up the next day my sister who slept in the opposite bed discovered bed bug bites on her arm! I contacted the front desk and asked to speak to the manager, who had not come in at that time. The staff did immediately have me come to the desk to get keys for a different room. We gathered our things and sat them up on desks and tables as we had to leave early for the limosine pickup for the services. When I returned I again inquired about speaking to the manager. She was apparently tied up but did look around a corner to make sure the clerk knew which keys were ours. She never acknowledged us or apologized for our inconvenience. She also did not offer to extend a night's stay at a later date. As a travel nurse I realize that unfortunately these situations can occur and as guests we want to minimize our damage. So the room change was appropriate. However, the manager's lack of concern was unacceptable! If she had of acknowledged the problem I would have given a different review.

I’ve been waiting to check in at the front desk for 45 minutes and there’s literally no employees. I have called and can hear the phone ringing. Another customer was waiting to catch the shuttle and had to call an Uber because there’s literally no employees anywhere. I can’t leave because my reservation is nonrefunfable, but I have to be at the airport at 4am and it’s already 9pm… awful experience so far. I’m traveling with a baby who is fussy and if absolutely love it if I could just get into my room to change him.

The overwhelming mildew smell in the linens and rundown condition of both of our rooms was enough to question the validity of the other recent reviews. There were stains on the carpets in both rooms too. Our family couldn’t believe this is rated 9.2/10. So disappointed we paid $153 each for something worth half that, maybe. I have been in other Wingates that weren’t this bad for the same price. I would not recommend.

This hotel was extremely nice, clean and the staff was so very helpful! All of the amenities exceeded my expectations. I will definitely stay there again when I visit my family!

Airport shuttle fast and convenient. Fred the driver was so nice. Helped with my stroller and luggage. 1am airport delay and the front desk was so nice and resourceful. No wait to check in. Appreciated able to get my kids to bed in a quickly manner. Breakfast available. Parking on-site. Rooms are clean, microwave, fridge, all working. 🙌🙌thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

I was a last minute hotel guest, due to a family members hospital stay. This hotel was available snd convenient to where i needed to be. One issue was the front desk changing my room from what i booked. She didn't even ask if the double would be ok versus the king. Second issue...i stayed multiple nights. The second night, i am exhausted sweltering from the extremely high heat and an arm load of things, my key didnt work. Soi had to have it redone. I was not happy. Overall i would for sure stay here again. Clean and quiet very close to the airport and i heatd nothing at all. Way to go Wyndham. Happy customer.

Would refer everyone to this hotel, airport right down road. Best BBQ next door. Lady at the front desk, was such an amazing person. Understood our situation when a family member was hospitalized during our stay. We had to stay longer and it wasn't a problem, they were ready on the spot. just what was needed for a late evening arrival. James at the Front Desk was very helpful, see that half of my family late arrival. transportation was well prepared for them.
