The hotel was very accommodating in every way. We had a family birthday party in their party room, which was perfect.
The bed was very comfortable, and the suite's tub was a fun addition.

The Depot is a cute hotel with all the Train memorabilia and cute arches in the rooms. It was clean and we enjoyed playing pool and the kids enjoyed the heated pool to swim in.

My wife and I brought a group of family and friends together for Fathers Day, my wife's Birthday, and to see our son perform as the lead, Huck Finn, in the Maples Repertory Theatre production of Big River about 15 minutes away in Macon. MO. We needed 6 rooms and the Depot Inn and Suites had the availability (we took the last 6 rooms), and the facility looked perfect, on-line, for our visit.
Everyone in our party (from NY, IL, MO and MN) loved everything about the Depot Inn, from all the railroad memorability and historical items, to the location (about 15 minutes to Macon and 15 minutes to Kirkland where the local airport and Starbucks were located - although the local coffee shop - Scooter's - was also fantastic), to the restaurant next door, to the pool and grounds. The best feature were the staff - who operated the Depot Inn as if they were the owners - with constant care and thoughtfulness, they even hung a Happy Birthday Banner over our door in recognition of my wife's birthday.
We spent only 2 nights at the Depot Inn and Suites but we all enjoyed the opportunity to experience this wonderful place and should we have the opportunity to visit the area again, we would all look up the Depot Inn first to arrange our stay.

This hotel is a gem! It was extremely clean and very unique. It used to be a train depot and is now a cross between a hotel and a museum. It is very family friendly with a playground, bikes, and games in the back area. There’s a really cool swimming pool too. The staff was kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. Totally worth a visit!

Being it revolved around 'trains' was a huge selling point for us as both the man and young man in our family are obsessed with trains! They were glued to the live feed TV station when the trains went through. This place was amazing in every detail imaginable. Pricing was also quite reasonable. We would definitely go back! Thank you for a wonderful couple nights stay

Very nice and clean property that’s almost like staying in a little railroad museum. Staff was very friendly. There is a pretty little vineyard behind the hotel, and a walking path to the railroad overlook. What a great place to stay with your railroad loving family. The hotel provides bicycles for guest to use to ride to the depot and Amtrak station which my husband enjoyed.
