Most of hotel was under construction. Was hoping the atrium area you could get food/snacks, but is bar only. Breakfast is just on the go. Rooms very clean. Pool was nicely heated for the kids.

It was under construction which no big deal. Once in room found hair in bathroom floor on toilet and in the tub. The thermostat for air wasn't working properly so I asked for an extra blanket was told they didn't have any. And to top it off the room smelled like sour milk or baby throw up

We had stayed here in August for a family gathering and loved it. This time, they are in the process of renovations, so the big, hot breakfast was not available - only bagels and cold cereal. The exercise room was not available - but we could go across the street and use the one at another hotel. The beautiful Italian restaurant was closed. All of this would have been good to know before we booked our stay.

We needed an overnight stay for a family event, and The Atrium fit the bill for us. It's not in the "nicest" part of town, but is right next to a performing arts center, and is mere blocks away from many cafe and restaurants in the downtown area. Beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the atrium area itself was spacious and welcoming.

Part of the reason we chose to stay here was that you had a nice pool for our younger kids…however, the pool was so cold…they tried to tough it out bc they wanted to swim so badly, but their lips were blue. We will be jn Quincy for the next several years for volleyball tourneys, but will likely look elsewhere for a hotel

Dated but nice. Night desk attendant was kid w grungy t-shirt, jeans and a backwards baseball cap who made me wait 10 min to check in while he finished his cigarette outside. Day staff was far more pleasant.

The staff were very sweet and we had a decent stay. Some kids thought it was funny to hit the fire call button in the elevator but the hotel staff responded quickly

The Atrium space was the perfect spot for my extended family to gather, eat as a group and sit comfortably while visiting. During my stay there was an event going on in the restaurant area and the noise concerned me but my atrium facing room was surprisingly quiet. The dark make up cloth was appreciated but the packaged make up remover pad was dry. The soap dispensers and dryer nightlight were something I found convenient and hadn't seen before. Bed/pillows were comfortable though the bed height was difficult for my 5ft 3in 80 yr old mother to get into. A small step stool would have been helpful-I didn't think to check with the front desk . I'm also sure that many coffee drinkers enjoy their in-room cup but I'm a tea drinker-finding a few teabags with the coffee supplies would be a nice addition.
I did have that tea the next morning at breakfast which was termed "continental" by the front desk. Yes, the usual was there and it was served buffet style but one could also enjoy hot scrambled eggs, sausage and make your own waffles.
Overall this room was a great choice for my overnight stay-I recommend and would stay again!
