The tv didn’t work and there was no remote. First they brought a new remote up two hours after we requested one. After we realized the tv wasn’t working they sent someone to look at it. Eventually he shrugged his shoulders and basically said oh well. The lobby bathrooms are all locked constantly. Not handy that you have to pay for wifi, which they don’t mention in the room booking. No bedsheets on the foldout couch for the kids and they never sent any up.

The valet captain yelled at me for parking in a spot that was designated for checking in, which is what I was doing. I had two children with me who needed the bathroom. I asked him if I could take them first. He told me no. Not a good start. Next the pool wasn’t family friendly due to its depth. The hotel reminded me of why I stay at the Westin.

We had a great stay with a few hiccups. Honestly, we are not fussy people and have fun at most hotels. We had a plumbing issue in our first room and had to move rooms the second day. I just think this is an older hotel so it is normal to run into some maintenance issues. The staff was very friendly & gave us free breakfast the next morning. Beds are super comfy. TV’s are small but we are fine with that. Hotel pool was smaller than expected but the kids had a blast in it both days. There was a group of unattended kids jumping off the tunnel to the hot tub but we took care of that ourselves, lol. Pool has a tunnel entrance into the inside area that has a hot tub. I thought maybe it was an indoor/outdoor pool but it is just a small pool exit to the hot tub.

Convinent to activities around the Crown Center. Very nice facility. My kids loved the pool on the roof and the pool hours are long. My only criticism is the rooms never really cooled off even after maintenance came to work on the AC. My wife has stayed here on 2 other occasions and had the same issue.
