No housekeeping after first night of two night stay. Would have been ok with just fresh bath towels. The front desk staff was A+++. Hotels need updating if it’s part of the Marriot family.

As a single traveler I felt very safe staying there while a family member was in the hospital. The ease of adding nights was a breeze. Breakfast was good and staff was always so nice to me.

It worked out for what I needed; they should enforce a timeframe for children in the pool (until 9p)- was not expecting not to be able to use that amenity at 10p before it closes for all three nights

Enjoyed our stay. Dee greeted us like family when we arrived. We felt at home. Morning staff was super friendly too. Loved being a short walk from WW1 museum/liberty memorial/Penn Valley Park. Take in sunrise or sunset there! Breakfast was solid (oatmeal bar was quite good!). Parking was free and easy. When the Streetcar expansion gets finished, this will be even better. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Thursday and Friday night. Friday afternoon, after some sightseeing, went to hotel to nap, regroup for the evening PBR event…some type of building maintenance construction was going on the others side of the wall….no naps then. Uuugggh. Swimming pool so small, Enough for one family, but the breakfast was delicious. I was worried about the neighborhood, I needed to Stay between the Kauffman Stadium and the T Mobile arena.

My husband and I stayed for a weekend and had a wonderful stay. Our room was on the first floor and was very clean (plus there was a pack of hand sanitizer wipes on the TV table). The water pressure and temperature in the shower were perfect. The toiletries are refillable by the hotel and the quality were great. I like the environmentally friendly set up. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The A/C ran a lot trying to keep up with the high temps, but it wasn't overly noisy and there wasn't a musty smell. We were down the hall from the pool which was utilized by several families, so I am assuming the temperature issue others have noticed wasn't an issue in mid-July. Breakfast Saturday morning was so great. The hot items were scrambled eggs plain, scrambled eggs with peppers and onion, and turkey sausage. Oatmeal with toppings as well (both days). There wasn't brown sugar, which is the only change I would have made that day. Sunday hot items were biscuits, sausage gravy, and hard boiled eggs. I really would have liked scrambled eggs both days instead of hard boiled eggs. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but they all seemed very polite. Parking wasn't an issue at all. The location is very convenient and we weren't worried about our safety at all. There was a homeless person hanging out in the lobby when when we arrived which might be a culture shock for people from small towns, but the staff member was polite with them and we didn't see them again.

We came to KC for a concert and chose this hotel because it was pretty close to the venue. Check-in was easy and the customer service was great. The hotel was okay, nothing spectacular but nothing was terrible. The room we were given was in an adjacent building which made going to the pool a little inconvenient as my kids had to go outside to get to the main building. The room was okay. The TV was angled sharply downward and wasnt adjustable but my kids made it work. They were able to use Netflix and YouTube so that's cool. Breakfast was gross. The hotel needs an update but the people who work there were really nice. For the price i expected a little more.

We stayed with my wife and my 2 little kids in Sheraton at Crown Centre for 4 nights then moved to Fairfield in UnionHill and stayed for 10 nights.
We found Fairfield way more family friendly, there's Microwave, Fridge, TV with Internet services like YouTube, free coffee/Tea in the lobby all the time and free breakfast, unlike sheraton which didn't have any of that and costed at least double the price.
Fairfield staff are very lovely and cooperative, smiling all the time.
