Great location. Unique hotel. Pool and lobby closes too early for kids. Breakfast ends too early for old people. Parking is a bit tricky. I will stay here again though. The good outweighed the bad!

The property is clean and seems well located if you are wanting to check out downtown Hannibal. Even though we had a first floor room next to the pool it was super quiet. Pool area looked nice but we didn’t use it. The hotel needs some updating though, feels like a hotel I would have stayed at on a road trip as a kid in the 1980’s. Rooms are smaller, parking tight, room kept losing TV and wifi signal. Almost $150/night seems rather high for this hotel.

My husband and I went for the weekend. Check in was great. Fast. Room was clean. Beds a little uncomfortable but we made it. We were on the 3rd flood so when we walked out, we could see the river.
Breakfast was good. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy along with cereal etc.
they have an indoor pool. We didn’t use it but it was very busy with families.
Will definitely stay here again.

I love this hotel. I stay here each time I’m in Hannibal for quilting and very much look forward to it. The staff is always incredible in every way from friendliness to making sure I have a comfortable room (I have no kids and like quiet). The room is spacious, clean, and well kept (no leaks, stains, discolorations, etc.). That’s a lot coming from me because I’m super picky about cleanliness and customer service.

Nice staff, grandkids enjoyed pool, good breakfast and close to many things in downtown Hannibal. Very dirty couch, killed brown recluse in room, noisy when guests walking in hallway. Very expensive especially considering quality and cleanliness. I would not stay there again.

Great location downtown, but an older building showing it's age. The pool in the lobby, while enjoyed by kids, smells of chlorine everywhere in the public spaces.

Well the front desk staff was super friendly, unfortunately our room air conditioning vent was covered in black mold!! Even the ceiling had evidence of mold dust. This is not safe or sanitary, especially for our family traveling with little ones. Would not return or recommend, unless the hotel does a complete overhaul of their duct system.

we had a room that didn't have any outside windows and the one window we did have was in the hallway where everyone could see into the room unless the curtains were closed. The indoor pool was open in the lobby so as you checked in, you could see who was in the pool and there was no filter for noise from the pool. We heard kids screaming in the pool until 9 pm when the pool closed. The location was right next to the downtown area and a couple of blocks from the river so I wouldn't call it "On the River". Rooms definitely need to be updated. We did like the Mark Twain diner that was across the street from the hotel. Excellent service and food there. It is closed on Tuesday/Wednesday.
