Pear Tree Inn St. Louis Fenton

Great staff, fun extras like lemonade and popcorn hour, good clean room, and comfortable stay with my family. Would definitely stay here again.

Short trip for family. Baby shower. basically room was just to sleep in. Nothing else.

The staff was cold and unprofessional looking. Our room smelled like smoke, although it should have been non-smoking. The pool was outside only, and it was cold so the kids couldn’t swim. The shower had a timer to turn on the light but the numbers were rubbed off and the shower didn’t drain. It was overall clean, but completely disappointing in every other way. Oh, and they charged us $50 over the incidentals, so they held $100 total. We did get the first $50 back, but it made me nervous that I wouldn’t get the incidentals back.

I have no idea how this mediocre hotel got good ratings! Room was comfy and was quiet. But it was not worth the money we were charged! The breakfast was very disappointing! We've stayed at better hotels for a lot less $ with a hot breakfast. Not just bland flavorless waffles, bagels and spoiled milk. No protein at all! I'm pretty sure the lady running the breakfast was on drugs too. She was bouncing all over the place, jittery and just really acting oddly with children present.

My family had a very enjoyable stay here! The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was also surprisingly good! We actually enjoyed it, which is quite unusual for these small hotels. The hotel also has popcorn and lemonade set up in the lobby every night between 4 to 8, which is thoughtful. The location is about 25 minutes from St. Louis’ Arch, which we thought was acceptable. We would definitely stay here again.

We thought we would have handicap room as requested. Very necessary for us as far as shower needed TV was ridiculous! Changing channels click by click ??? How crazy was that? Very hard to do that. Time consuming. Could not use tv program guide for help Very frustrating Some programs listed were not found. Waffle batter had to be mixed both mornings as it was separated. That area was very messy Sunday we had to ask for bagels, yogurt, Tables were not clean Only 2 handicap parking spots meant that we never had one in two days we were there We always stayed at this Pear Tree as it was easy for us to get around there, but not this trip and a big disappointment Will search for another place that meets our needs when our family meet in StL
