Magnolia Inn and Suites Olive Branch

Passing through and needed a place to rest. The guy at the front desk was great and very hospitable. The issue i had was with the room itself. When we walked into the room, it was very muggy, sticky and smelled of mildew due to the air being off. When we turned the air conditioner on, the smell still remained and it was hard to breath. The headboards and walls were dirty looking. When pulling back the sheets on one of the beds... someone's finger nail was there and there were stains on the sheets. We went to the other bed, and it appeared to be cleaner but we did ask for clean sheets because we did not trust the cleanliness. The front desk guy gave us new sheets and apologized for the dirty sheets we found. Overall, i would not stay here again or recommend this place to friends or family. You get what you pay for...

Staff was kind and accommodating. You can tell they try hard to please. Room was fine for the price. It’s a typical budget hotel. Liked that they had mattress protectors and I thoroughly checked for bugs, but didn’t see any or any signs of infestation. Free breakfast was great for kids (all carbs, hahaha!). Internet didn’t work, but I didn’t care enough so never called front desk

Very nice place 3 rd time staying n me and my family love it definitely a must visit n we will definitely be visiting again soon

Unattended children running up and down the hallways, bags of garbage in the hallway make this a less than desirable stay

The coffee machine was broken. There was a leak in our bathroom. Floor covered with water. Room 101. Commode would not quit running. People in room 201 had kid(s) that kept running across the room until 10pm. Other than that it's a great location. Bed slept good. Price was right. I'd stay there again, but not on the first floor.

A grey haired older lady kept asking us at check out if I was sure we only had 4 people. I booked for 2 kids and 2 adults. Why was there this repetitive questioning? I paid the extra fees. I felt disrespected.

Terrible odor in room, Wi-Fi was terrible, shower faucet H/C marked incorrectly. Water dripped all night. Refrigerator didn’t work. Charged extra for bringing my kids. No BREAKFAST!

The property was close to food places, grocery stores, gas stations, shopping centers and etc. There were a musty, damp smell that greeted my family and I immediately as we were getting off the elevator and headed to our room. That same smell greeted us as we walked into the room and began to look around. The bed made a squeaky noise when sitting down and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The fridge was not thoroughly cleaned. The fan/vent from the bathroom made a loud awkward noise during the night. The most disgusting thing about the room was the carpet/flooring. It seems as if the carpet was the culprit for the disgusting smells. We were not served breakfast but had options of overpriced food items. My family and I will not be staying here again.

They charged me 10 per child after I paid online. I had 3 children. It speaks of a charge for animals not kids.
