Best Western Plus Desoto

Clean and nice. Great for our quick family trip.

Room 424 was infested with roaches, i was moved to room 224 the blinded was toren down 272 the air was out so i was up moving two babies from room to room at 12am. The young lady at the desk act as if she didnt care since i woke her up.

Well we were in room 309 and above us were a bunch of kids running and screaming and it sounded like they had a bowling alley up there , I was afraid they were going to come through the ceiling, my husband went down to the front desk twice and they said they would call them , I had to call the front desk at 3 am cause they were still just being loud , we have stayed here 2 or 3 times now . This time was the last !! It was awful!!

Excellent place to rest, relax and enjoy a getaway! The staff are ALL incredibly helpful and genuinely kind! Breakfast was great with many options for the whole family! The coffee machine in the lobby is top notch! Rooms were clean and so were the facilities all around! The pool was THE BEST indoor pool I’ve ever experienced at a hotel! Water was so warm and the pool area was plenty warm also! Our kids absolutely loved it! We will be back! Above and beyond our expectations especially for the price!!

They allowed us to check in knowing they had no working water. You could not shower, flush toliets, get water or wash your hands. Had to go to walmart to get water to wash up. So disappointed. My family travelled 9 hours to do a college visit.

Staff needs to do better in managing guests at my stay the room above me had people or children running around stomping all night my wife and I and my baby barely got sleep

My family and I had the pleasure of enjoying a stay here during our trip to Memphis. The location was perfect for our needs as it was close to several dining options and Walmart while still being quiet and safe. The room was clean and spacious with a mini fridge and microwave. The sofa bed, chair, and office chair allowed our family to spread out comfortably. The breakfast was excellent with coffee, juice, scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles (DIY), yogurt, cereal, etc. The front desk staff were kind and helpful.

Let me first say that I've realized that I've consistently set myself up for disappoint by staying at Best Western's properties because I find them to be consistently unkept and visibly worn. I think they need a corporate overhaul of their management standards and training. No one seems to have an eye for the visual presentation or cleanliness of their properties. There's no employee pride in how they maintain their properties. They can be brand new with nice finishings and no one maintains it. This return stay was for a very special family holiday and we wanted to find something affordable for our 4-night stay (this is a fairly new property). We got there at night and were unable to get adequate towels, and we had to ask multiple times before we received them, with the exchange only request from housekeeping. The first morning, when pulling back the curtains, I found the outer skin of a white onion behind the curtains. It was obvious that no one ever moves the curtains to vacuum. But, with the bright light shining in the room the carpet shows the filth with so many stains that your socks will be filthy if they're white. After seeing the floor I did not want to even sit on the couch. Needless to say, there is no quality standard. The last time I stayed I left a review that wasn't favorable and the manager emailed me an invitation to give them another try, which I did and it was worst. They need managers who care.

My children loves the pool. The rooms were very clean and the ladies that help us at checkin were very nice and moved quickly to get us checked in. Will be booking again in the future.

The front desk was super helpful. The rooms were new and clean. I was able to get a crib for the baby to sleep in.
