The hot tub was out of order unfortunately, but the kids did enjoy the pool which was not crowd at all.
The shuttle was a little uncomfortable with the amount of people that were packed in to get to the Wild game. We would have gladly waited for an additional shuttle run.
The staff were all excellent, very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean. Overall I would stay here again.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent, the staff was well above average especially the restaurant staff at breakfast. Vivian is such a caring and pleasant person who treats everyone like family.

We were greeted by Makenzie who was absolutely amazing!! We got to our rooms and found one had a broken shower (room 214) and she quickly switched the room for us. We sat in the lobby area eating dinner with family and Makenzie made it fun! Only complaints would be how dirty the elevators were and the handicap accessible shower in room 310, the water goes all over the floor when used. Otherwise it was a great stay and I highly recommend it.

The Capitol Ridge offers that valuable quality - location. It's convenient to family in both St.Paul and the east suburbs. The hotel is clean and quiet and the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great. What more could you ask?

We booked this room as we had an event up In the cities and needed a place close as it went late into the evening. Upon arrival check in staff were great and the issue didn’t start till we got in the elevators. There was tobacco on the ground in the corner and fresh smoke smell in the elevator. Come to find there was a butt from whatever was smoked on the other side. When we got up to our room there were children running up and down the hall and screaming inside the rooms. They slammed doors and had no respect for others there. We quickly got frustrated after asking them to calm down and were met with attitude. We went to the event and returned after an hour or two, settling back in our room the rowdiness got worse across the hall. We made other arrangements and began to pack. The rooms across the hall got kicked out during our packing process and all hell broke loose in the hall. We had to wait till the police cleared out the juveniles before we could exit the room and go to check out. When we reached the service desk the employee was helpful but disrespectful. He would barely look at us or acknowledge us and took the card and said I would receive an email from management(still haven’t) regarding this stay. Very disappointed as we have not experienced this and have not gotten reached out to for a resolution.

It was ok for a quick stay. The parking is not free and is added to your room stay. There's an inconvenient gate to get in and out for parking(not an open lot).
Pool was nice. Place was quite. They offered a shuttle to the sports event at Xcel which was so convenient.
My biggest complaint is that our room got so incredibly hot and when i tried to turn the thermostat down it wouldn't let me adjust it. Our room was at 75 degrees and my kids were complaining of how hot it was.

My 11-year-old and I spent one night at this Radisson in St. Paul in order to attend a Minnesota wild hockey game at the Excel energy Center. Everything about the experience exceeded my expectations. Hot breakfast included as part of our stay was tasty and friendly. My 11-year-old said, “I think these are the friendly people I’ve ever met.” The hotel itself was comfortable and clean. The area of town that it is in was also comfortable and clean. There was so much within walking distance… The Xcel energy Center, the Saint Paul Public library, the capitol building, Saint Paul cathedral, the Minnesota history Museum, the James J Hill mansion. The list goes on! We had a terrific stay, and I hope to return with the rest of the family someday soon.

Hotel staff were amazingly friendly - front desk staff, shuttle driver and housekeeper. All wonderful. Parking was easy and abundant. Shuttle to Excel was fantastic. Only issue was pillows were super soft and really uncomfortable. Pool was fun for kids. Clean all around.
