Eddy's Resort

Got to the hotel they were over booked. So they sent me to the casino owned by same company . They charged me for 4 rooms, stating my first 2 rooms were saved just one at the hotel and the other at the casino??? We were traveling with family and wanted stay in the same facility. Vs one 10 miles apart??

We booked on Expedia a month or so before the date we were to stay, called the morning of our arrival date to confirm our room reservation (1 room, 2 double beds) and was told by the receptionist on the phone everything was good with our room and confirmation. We went to check in around 7:00pm and were told they no longer had any rooms with beds. They offered to put us in a "parlor" room that had a couch and they would bring in some roll-away beds for us. I was so shocked - I thought they were kidding. A room with NO BEDS?? Turns out they were NOT kidding. They were willing to credit us $40.00 of our $208.00 reservation - basically give us 20% off the price of the room. We said absolutely not and my husband and I drove the several hours back to our home in southern MN. SERIOUSLY unhappy with our reservation (especially considering we even called to confirm our reservation that morning!) - not to mention the very small amount they offered to credit us. It ruined our vacation.
