Comfort Inn Plymouth - Minneapolis

Our expierience was awful we entered riom #1 Air conditioner was broke...the moved us to another room in which the floor was soaked , our barh tub did not drain, we had driven 3. 5 hrs to this hotel it was 9pm they offered to move us a 3rd time upstairs however we had booked two rooms ..1 fir our adult kids and 1 for us. We waned to stay on the same floor. We stayed in that room...got up in the morning and went to breakfast only for there nit to be aby food there...staff was crabby and irritable if we asked for anything...we had 2 rooms booked 1room fir 2 nights and 1 riom for 1 night..wuth the wet carpet in our room the first night that staff said we could move to the ither room that had been booked just for 1 night ..the frint desk staff the next day was rude, unpleasant and told us no we need to stay in the room with the wet floor...it was a mess and ruined our weekend away..we wanted to cancell our reservation but they said we could not since we already checked in...this hotel needs a ton of repairs ...ice machine was dripping water all over the floor.. will never stay here again or allow any friends / family to stay there until improvements are made...

Room was clean. Breakfast okay. But the whole second floor reeked of marijuana. Much worse in the hallway but permeated into the room. Not at all welcome for my family.

I rented a room here because we stayed about a year ago and really enjoyed it, and I wanted to sit in the hot tub, my sole purpose for getting a room, only to find out when we got to the pool roomthat the hot tub was out of order and was for both nights that we stayed, and the front desk clerk didn't seem to think it was important information to pass along. Housekeeping is lacking very badly, not sure if it's a matter of not enough staff to clean but it was much dirtier then last time we were there. I brought my own disinfectant wipes & started cleaning before it crossed my mind to take before & after pictures. Not sure I can post them with this review, if I can & can figure out how to then I will do so. So with the hot tub out of order I thought I'll make lemonade(so to speak, lol) with my lemons, and went back to the room to have a hot bath, only to find the hot water did not get very hot. I realize they have to follow guide lines/orders made by city inspectors, but the sink in the bathroom ran way hotter than the tub, so backwards. I'd say it's more dangerous to have the sink running so hot. Children go to use the bathroom & wash their hands on their own, but more often than not the parent runs the bath water to make sure of the temp & depth, but rarely does a parent trail behind their child to make sure they don't get burned while washing their hands. I was greatly disappointed in the condition of the hotel & the housekeeping & there were a few other things as well.

Liked: Location, complimentary breakfast, Pool area Disliked: Not all areas clean, pool was too cold for children, heater was very loud, fire alarm was stuffed with a hand towel, pack and play was broken and was no mattress so was not able to use

Jessica at the front desk was friendly and personable. Very helpful when I needed to add another night onto our stay. The hotel was quiet and the beds were comfortable. My kids loved the pool and had it to themselves the entire stay.

Third time this winter staying. Will continue great amenities central location for families.

Great location for the price with easy access to MOH, Valleyfair and the zoo! The free breakfast was great with a good variety of food. The kids had a great time in the pool which is open until midnight! All around a great place to stay.
